• Prepare and verify shipment permits, documentation, and labels; track inbound and outbound shipments, maintain complete records, investigate and coordinate resolution of delivery, handling, and documentation discrepancies.
• Receive, inspect, store, and distribute incoming materials; evaluate consumption, lead times, storage capacity, and expiration risk to determine replenishment needs, communicate purchasing needs to the purchasing team, and restock designated locations.

• Receive, move, exchange, and store liquid nitrogen containers and compressed gas cylinders in accordance with required training and company procedures; monitor consumption and supply levels, coordinate replenishment and deliveries, and develop contingency arrangements for delays or unexpected demand.
• Assess building and facility requests, identify appropriate service contacts, coordinate vendor access and maintenance support; prioritize and escalate safety and infrastructure concerns based on urgency and operational impact, and refer laboratory equipment service requests to the appropriate internal team.
• Coordinate workspace setup and support physical relocations within established project plans, arranging logistics with internal teams and service providers to minimize operational disruption.
• Evaluate facilities service costs and vendor performance, investigate recurring service issues, and recommend corrective actions or alternative providers; develop and implement approved improvements to facilities procedures, service tracking, and records.
Qualifications
Required
• Three to five or more years of experience in shipping, receiving, logistics, or facilities operations, preferably in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, or a regulated laboratory environment.

• Strong organizational, documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills; proficiency with Outlook, Excel, and Word; ability to evaluate options, coordinate resolutions with limited direction, and recognize when specialist guidance or approval is needed.
Preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, supply Chain, logistics, life sciences, or a related field.
• Experience independently investigating shipment delays, documentation discrepancies, inventory shortages, and vendor issues and coordinating effective resolutions.
• Experience assessing shipping options and operational risks while balancing material requirements, delivery timelines, reliability, and cost.
