We are seeking a highly motivated Summer Intern to join our US-IDD Medicinal Chemistry team.
The successful candidate will work at the intersection of molecular dynamics simulations, machine learning, and drug design. This position offers hands-on experience with a variety of computational techniques and the opportunity to gain further understanding of the role of computational chemistry in the drug discovery process.

Main Responsibilities
Contribute to data visualization and interpretation of complex structural and dynamical information.
Maintain organized computational workflows and documentation of methodologies and results.
Generate and analyze protein structure predictions and conformational ensembles using computational tools.
Apply machine learning and statistical methods to analyze simulation data.
Support molecular dynamics simulations and conformational sampling to investigate protein structural dynamics.
Continue to learn from literature, meetings, and personnel to solve chemistry and medicinal chemistry challenges.
Communicate and interact with other staff/team members in a professional and courteous manner
About you
Basic Qualifications:
En route to Bachelors Degree in chemistry, biology, computer science or a related field
Must be permanently authorized to work in the U.S. and not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future. Students currently on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT usually require future sponsorship for long term employment and do not meet the Internal requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship.
Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university throughout the duration of the co-op/internship.
Must be able to relocate to the office location and work 40hrs/week, Monday to Friday for the full duration of the co-op/internship.
Experience running molecular dynamics simulations using GROMACS or similar software.
Basic experience with programming for data analysis and visualization.

Compensation
The salary range for this position is$29-35 USD hourly. All compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience.
