Regeneron is currently seeking a Manager Biotech Production to join our Global Manufacturing team. In this role you will provide direction and leadership for all manufacturing programs through startup of the Saratoga Springs bulk biologics facility. This manufacturing site is in the early stages and we are looking for an experienced biologics manufacturing operations leader to help build out the team and facility. This role will oversee implementation of both clinical and commercial manufacturing production schedules. Discover your role:
Manages all aspects of production operations in a GMP biologics drug substance facility
Leads the manufacturing implantation of technology transfer
Drafts and implements long-term planning for the process, staff, and budget
Performs personnel management functions (i.e. annual employee evaluations, coaching, disciplining, etc.)
Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
Makes decisions; develops and implements policies
Ensures that policies and procedures are effectively administered and that they comply with regulatory requirements
Working with, designing, and implementing single-use process equipment
The environment and physical rhythms of the role:
Gowning: Full cleanroom attire (Examples may include: including laundered undergarments, gown, facemask, hairnet, safety glasses, safety shoes and booties, latex gloves and the use of sanitizing agents during gowning process including IPA)
Ability to remove jewelry, make-up and nail adornments when wearing cleanroom attire
This role requires:
BS/BA in Life Sciences or related field and 5+ years of relevant experience in GMP biologics manufacturing and 3+ years of supervisory experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience with MES, DCS, and advanced process control systems
