Job Responsibilities:
Prepare, label and test reagents in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring reagent quality and complete, traceable records;
Manage the inbound and outbound operations of the plasmid bank, including receipt, registration, storage, issuance and periodic stock-take of plasmids, keeping records consistent with physical inventory;
Requisition, register and maintain the materials used in your daily work, following first-in-first-out (FIFO) and expiry-management practices;
Perform data entry and record keeping through the Windows operating system, the MES system and paper laboratory records as applicable to the actual work, as well as daily office tasks;
Complete daily tasks strictly in accordance with SOPs and supervisors' instructions, and report any anomalies promptly;
Perform other duties as assigned.
What we are looking for (Requirements):
Diploma or above; a major in biology, chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences or life sciences is preferred;
Able to follow SOPs and complete daily tasks as required by supervisors; detail-oriented, responsible and honest in record keeping;
Good communication skills, able to collaborate smoothly with team members and other departments;
Able to use the Windows operating system and common office software (e.g., Excel, Word);
Able to work a shift schedule.
Hands-on experience in reagent preparation, testing or quality control;
Experience in sample bank, warehouse or material management;
Experience with MES, LIMS, ERP or other laboratory or inventory management systems;
Good bilingual (English and Chinese) communication skills.
Available to work 8-hour shifts, 5 days a week, with 2 rest days that may not always fall on weekends
