Join Moderna’s global Legal team in Warsaw and play a hands-on role at the intersection of commercial operations, CMC, procurement, manufacturing, quality and supply chain. Working closely with senior lawyers and cross-functional partners, you’ll provide practical, risk-based legal support that helps teams navigate complex contracting and business decisions in a fast-moving biotech environment.
As an individual contributor, you’ll have broad exposure across both buy-side and sell-side contracting, from supplier and manufacturing negotiations to commercial and private market agreements, while supporting the review of promotional and marketing materials.

You’ll also have the opportunity to rethink how legal work gets done—identifying ways to simplify, digitize and enhance legal processes, including opportunities to get closer to Generative AI tools and explore how emerging technology can support more efficient legal workflows.

Here's What You'll Do:

• Partner with senior lawyers and cross-functional stakeholders to provide legal and operational support across commercial, CMC, procurement and contracting matters.

• Act as a legal escalation point for buy-side contract matters, including procurement, supplier, manufacturing, quality and supply chain negotiations.

• Support sell-side, commercial and private market contract escalations, helping resolve non-standard legal, commercial and operational issues in a pragmatic and business-oriented way.

• Draft, review and negotiate complex contracts in support of Moderna’s biotech and pharmaceutical operations.

• Review promotional and marketing materials and related stakeholder communications to support alignment with applicable legal, regulatory and company requirements.

• Work closely with colleagues across Legal, Procurement, Commercial, Compliance, Regulatory, Medical, CMC, Quality, Supply Chain and other functions to enable efficient execution and consistent ways of working.

• Exercise strong judgment and integrity while working independently, balancing legal considerations with pragmatic, risk-based solutions.

• Manage multiple priorities and stakeholder relationships in a collaborative, globally connected environment.

• Demonstrate curiosity, ownership and continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to simplify, digitize and enhance legal processes.

• Explore opportunities to engage with Generative AI and other emerging digital tools that can help streamline legal workflows, contracting activities and knowledge management.

Here’s What You’ll Bring to the Table

• University law degree: full legal qualification

• 6+ years of relevant experience in-house and/or in a law firm.

• Experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex contracts in biotech/ pharmaceutical industry.

• Experience with commercial, procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, quality or CMC-related contracting strongly preferred.

• Strong judgment, integrity and ability to work independently while providing pragmatic, risk-based solutions.

• Excellent communication, organization and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a collaborative environment.

• Proficiency in English required due to global collaboration needs; additional languages are a plus.
