The Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Manager, Equity Administration to lead the administration of our equity compensation programs which include a mix of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), Non-qualified Stock Options (NQs), other equity-based awards, and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP). This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate recordkeeping, adherence to tax and regulatory requirements, and delivering top-tier support to employees and stakeholders.
What You Will Contribute
- Oversee the administration of global equity programs, including equity plan management, accurate and timely payroll reporting, employee education, and coordination of brokerage accounts.
- Manage the global equity platform to administer awards, process transactions, and ensure accurate settlement of equity transactions, including grants, exercises, releases, and forfeitures.
- Act as the go-to expert for equity-related inquiries from employees, internal teams, and external partners, providing precise and comprehensive information.
- Assist in preparing sections of the company’s proxy, including beneficial ownership tables, summary compensation tables, and plan-based awards disclosures.
- Partner with Finance, Legal, and HR to ensure smooth equity vesting, regulatory compliance, and participant engagement.
- Maintain and update documents defining procedures for all plan administration and ensuring that internal controls and procedures are in place.
- Partner with internal and external auditors to conduct routine audits, ensuring all equity data is processed accurately and timely while maintaining compliant internal controls.
- Perform periodic reconciliations of equity plan share pools in coordination with Finance and Legal.
- Provide regular equity program updates and reports to internal stakeholders.
- Assist Finance with preparation of equity-related disclosures for SEC reporting.
What We Seek
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Human Resources, or other related field
- A minimum of 5 years of experience managing equity compensation programs in a public company
- CEP certification highly desired
- In-depth knowledge of equity administration platforms and tools. E*TRADE and Equity Edge Online experience is highly desired
- Familiarity with global equity taxation, compliance, and reporting standards
- Strong knowledge of SOX requirements
- Strong teamwork and project management abilities
- Proactive and strategic mindset with ability to balance solving immediate problems and making progress towards longer term strategic goals
- Ability to evaluate system capabilities to increase efficiencies and improve processes
- Ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, effectively across all levels of the organization
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects independently while maintaining confidentiality and attention to detail
What We Will Provide To You
● The base salary range for this role is $152,000 – 168,000. The final compensation will be commensurate with such factors as relevant experience, skillset, internal equity and market factors.
● Avidity offers competitive compensation and benefits, which include the opportunity for annual and spot bonuses, stock options, and RSUs, as well as a 401(k) with an employer match.
