Sr Laboratory Assistant

Regeneron's Protein Biochemistry Group, located in Tarrytown, NY is looking for a Sr Laboratory Assistant to perform lab support and maintenance duties in laboratory. The LabOps team is primarily responsible for managing and optimizing all aspects of the lab Environment. In this role your day may include but not be limited to ensuring labs are equipped, maintained and run efficiently in the areas of Lab Management, Process Optimization, Compliance and Safety, Resource Allocation & Coordination and Communication.

• Follow 21 CFR Part 58 GLP guidelines and SOPs.
• Lead sample distribution workflows.
• Manage Sample Shipments Requests (internal, external, international) and maintain documentation.
• LIMS Database development, testing, troubleshooting.
• Organize, catalog, and reconcile sample inventory and freezers as needed.
• Assist with managing non-database aliquot inventory tracking and organization.
• Maintain and organize sample distribution points.
• Provide auxiliary support for aliquoting workflows as needed.
• Proactively identify potential process improvements within scope of work.
• Assist with general lab organization and help identify opportunities for improvement.
• Assist with coordinating hazardous waste disposal.
• Ability to prioritize and organize work for on-time delivery.
• Ability to work independently.
• Address and report to supervisor any problems on day-to-day operation.
• Other miscellaneous duties that provide support to the lab.

• You have strong initiative and aim to complete ambitious tasks and learn new technologies.
• You are capable of multi-tasking, working both independently and within a team environment.

This role requires a Bachelors Degree or Associates degree in a relevant field. Familiarity with general chemistry and biochemistry lab techniques preferred.
