The Position

Manage full lifecycle recruitment for Admin, Professional level and other positions as needed.  Partner with HR Business Partners (HRBPs), hiring managers, external outsourcing partners (when applicable) and agencies to drive and build upon relationships to result in the achievement of business objectives (e.g. time to fill metrics, quality of hire, manager satisfaction). Guide implementation an overall talent acquisition strategy focused on attracting & developing talent specifically tailored to the assigned organization as your key client group.

 

Relationships

This position reports to the AD, Talent Acquisition Delivery. Interacts closely with extended HR team and hiring managers. External relations include but are not limited to outsourcing vendors, candidates, agencies (contingency) and professional associations.

 

Essential Functions

  • Communication:
  • Ensure that HR Directors/Business Partners are continuously updated on status of openings relative to their area
  • Maintain positive relationships with key clients by providing timely, relevant updates
  • Proactively give HR Directors/Business Partners notification of internal candidates expressing interest in changing positions
  • Provide feedback to internal and external candidates in a timely fashion and in accordance with talent acquisition procedures
  • Compensation:
  • Craft new hire offers and gain appropriate levels of approval. Provide counsel and direction relative to market-based new hire offers
  • Report compensation market trends to colleagues in HR
    • Projects:
    • Evaluates the effectiveness of recruitment process, vendor relationships, and assessment tools
    • Participate in Talent Acquisition related projects in either a team member capacity as the subject matter expert, or as a lead on projects with a medium scope/budget
  • Reporting And Compliance:
  • Ensure Applicant Flow, Job Folders, and sourcing/reporting are in compliance with OFCCP/EEO guidelines and internal SOPs
  • Ensure that job status and associated status reports are up to date weekly
  • Leverage the Applicant Tracking System (Recruit) to develop and maintain ad hoc recruitment status reports to meet stakeholder needs
  • Leverage HR Systems to develop and maintain ad hoc recruitment reports to meet stakeholder needs
  • Prepare and regularly update accurate statistical data/metrics regarding turnover, sourcing, and time to fill, etc.
  • Talent acquisition:
  • Assist in or leads ad hoc Talent Acquisition projects as requested
  • Attend relevant talent acquisition conferences, networking events, and career fairs
  • Demonstrates a thorough understanding of different assessment tools and counsels managers on their proper use and interpretation
  • Identify talent pipelining needs in response to workforce population trends and future talent gaps
  • Drives the recruitment strategy to ensure goals are met
  • Educates hiring managers on recruitment process and directly address issues when processes are not followed
  • Ensures and adheres to a consistent and effective recruitment process
  • Identifies areas of opportunity in the recruitment process to add value, improve quality, and increase customer service
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of recruitment process, vendor relationships, and assessment tools
  • Liaises with recruiting agencies (when applicable) and holding them accountable for contract requirements
  • Facilitate high quality Talent Acquisition strategy meetings (RSQ/RSD)
  • Partner with the hiring manager to recruit highly qualified talent in the least amount of time
  • Interview and assess candidates (phone screens and in person) using behavioral, competency-based interviewing techniques

    Physical Requirements

    0-10% overnight travel required.

    This is a hybrid role, requiring 2 to 3 days per week onsite in Plainsboro, NJ, based on business need.

     

    Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree required; relevant experience and/or certification in specialized HR function may be substituted for degree, when appropriate
  • A minimum of 6 years of working in Human resources or relevant experience collaborating with line of business (including VP+ level) and/or centers of excellence (COEs) can be substituted where needed, Talent Acquisition experience preferred
  • Data management and metrics (e.g., trend analysis) experience required
  • Demonstrated ability to constructively challenge manager assumptions or directly confront issues
  • Demonstrated experience in an environment of multiple and changing priorities
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Superb communication skills
  • Experience using an applicant tracking system required
  • Good working knowledge of HR policies, procedures and federal/state legislation
  • In depth experience using behavioral interviewing techniques and assessment tools and processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel spreadsheets
  • Proven capabilities developing communication tools for managers
  • The ability to build a network across industries to identify future talent
