Job DescriptionAbout the role:The Senior EHS Specialist is responsible for the deployment, implementation, monitoring and coaching of core Technical EHS programs, and standards across the site. You will help ensure the site complies with all federal, state, and local environmental, health and safety (EHS) regulations. Additionally, you will provide technical support to manufacturing, engineering, and maintenance departments. You will report to the Head of EHS.
How you will contribute:Develop the implementation and maintenance of important EHS programs (e.g., Electrical Safety, Confined Space Entry).
Coordinate with departments to agree on EHS standards.
Lead EHS committees, promoting leadership and employee engagement.
Provide coaching on investigation skills and root cause analysis across the site.
Lead community engagement projects.
Develop EHS training strategies with Business Excellence.
Manage incident responses and communications for EHS issues.
Guide project teams on EHS Management of Change.
Promote EHS Reporting Systems to analyze trends and identify gaps.
Help maintain ISO 14001 and 45001 certification and set EHS goals.
Communicate EHS performance metrics for review.
Coach personnel in investigating serious incidents.
Integrate continuous improvement strategies into EHS operations.
Expert in core technical EHS programs and continuous improvement tools.
Experience in developing management systems and managing compliance plans.
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Science, Engineering or other related technical field.
Minimum of 3+ years of experience.
OSHA 30 Hour General Industry certification.

In general, your work will be a combination of sedentary work and walking around observing conditions of the facility.
Must be able to lift, carry, push/pull up to 25lbs (with assistance of material handling equipment).
Must be able to stand and/or walk for an extended period over an 8–12-hour shift between rooms and across the site.
Must be able to ascend / descend stairs / ladders and perform work related tasks in mezzanine and roof work environments.
May require bending, twisting, reaching overhead, and squatting motions to perform certain tasks.
Will work around moving equipment and machinery. May work in confined spaces/areas.
Some Clean Room and cool/hot storage conditions.
May work with and must not be allergic to cephalosporin.
May work in a controlled environment requiring special gowning and wear protective clothing over the head, face, hands, feet and body. This may include additional hearing protection for loud areas.
Will need to remove all make-up, jewelry, contact lenses, nail polish and artificial fingernails while in the manufacturing environment.
May work in a cold, hot or wet environment.
May work around chemicals such as alcohol, acids, buffers and Celite that may require respiratory protection.
Will work on multiple shifts, including weekends, to support a 24/7 manufacturing operation.
Will work non-traditional work hours, including weekends and holidays.

$67,900.00 - $106,700.00The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/or long-termincentives. U.S.based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others.
