Job DescriptionAbout the role:
Manages platform delivery within the Takeda portfolio and is responsible for the day-to-day development and alignment of delivery to the strategic vision.
The Platform Owner is focused on delivery, release plans, and communicating progress to stakeholders.
Lead the formulation of PEP related IT Strategy, with a strong focus on Takeda strategic digital innovationgoals by maturing Takedapatient engagement capabilities.
Provide leadership to business service and PEP platform capability roadmaps.
Drive PEP adoption, while maintaining design authority to align use cases and regional concerns to an optimized, reusable platform.
Lead and influence the development and maintenance ofPEP principles, standards, blueprints, patterns, and reference architectures / implementation which enable improved business outcomes from PEP.
Provide top level hands on management of the networks and troubleshoot any issues that arise. Analyze data traffic and system performance to determineand implement lifecycle related improvements.
Influence and lead project teams, IT engineering and operations teams to solve problems in the overall PEP environment, specific to business use cases.
Recognized and seen as key enabler to PEP product owner(s), partnering with IT operations teams to provide excellent, agilityenhancing services from a common global platform.
Use in-depth knowledge and experience in Architecture, design, data, engineering, system lifecycle and standards together with Enterprise Leadership and Product Management experience to advise teams on multiple levels.
Bring all global instances of patient experience platform under a common management and operations framework while supporting the needs and differences of agile product teams.
From time to time, report on the state and direction of Takeda PEP environments to technology and business leaders.
This role will be a platform architecture leader for PEP forglobal Takeda, focusing on driving improved business outcomes through a global common platform approach
As a member of the Global Network Platform team, this role will enable and support project teams and business teams in designing optimized solutions which drive reuse, improved efficiencies and remove / reduce Takeda's technical debt.
As owner of Takeda'slong-termPEP technology roadmap, this individual works with many key stakeholders and helps to drive platform maturity (primarily skills development, process improvement, and tools / technology improvement) and adoption.
Skills and qualifications:
Bachelors degree plus CCIE Certification or equivalent experience.
510 + years of experience spanning multiple Network disciplines, including technical architecture, network management and operations.
Experience on multitier on-prem architecture design and preferred to have Cloud Network Architecture and design experience with a major cloud provider such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
Proven Experience in preparing and reviewing HLD/ LLD documentation for Network Designs
Indepth knowledge and practical experience in configuring and supporting network equipment, including routers, switches, SDWAN devices, SaSE/ZTNA, Wireless, Cloud, Backbone and Campus circuits, and firewalls, with expertise in Cisco and Palo Alto, and ZScalernetworks technologies.
Experience in managing transformation projects, including network infrastructure upgrades and migrations is must
Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintainingLAN/WAN, SDWAN/SaSE, wireless,Firewalls, Campus and backbone connectivity solutions using Cisco technologies
Decisionmakingproficiency in cloud and onpremises network architecture design, considering factors and trade-offs such as resiliency scalability, performance, security, and costeffectiveness.
Experience in solutions architecture or engineering, with focus on designing and implementing robust and scalable network solutions
Advanced experience in configuring and supporting network routing protocols, i.e. BGP, OSPF, MPLS, PFR etc.
Experience in design and configuration of distributed Palo Alto Firewalls and Panorama troubleshooting.
Understanding of infrastructure as code, modern patterns and site reliability engineering concepts.
Ability to work in an agile and rapid changing environment with high quality deliverables.
Should have networking experience managingcomplex, large scale Network Services in accordance with ITSM standards and best practices.
Strong soft skills and communication skills
Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments in a globally distributed organization.
Experience working in a life sciences environment and/or familiarity with Takeda strongly preferred
Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC), modern architectural patterns, and site reliability engineering (SRE) concepts, with a commitment to automation and DevOps principles.

Cambridge, MAU.S. Base Salary Range:
$133,000.00 - $209,000.00The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/or long-termincentives. U.S.based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others.
