Patient Access Director, Bone

What you will do

Lets do this. Lets change the world! In this vital position, you will lead the development and execution of the Patient Support Strategy for Bone products (e.g., EVENITY & Prolia), working closely with the Patient Access Capability teams and Brand.

  • In conjunction with Capability/Brand leads, lead the development of two insight-driven Patient Support Strategies for EVENITY and Prolia that enhances the fulfillment journey for patients and customers

  • Map fulfillment journeys to identify gaps and potential areas of improvement

  • Develop and implement plans to mitigate identified gaps while minimizing risks and disruptions for patients and customers

  • Establish goals and priorities to accomplish and how to measure and track success.

  • Lead engaging Quarterly Business Reviews with Brand to communicate important insights, goals, and metrics from programs that support overall brand performance.

  • Proactively examine new and competitor support services to ensure our offerings stay relevant

  • Work with capability leads to plan the evolution of programs to align with the brand life cycle

  • Liaise with the brand team to understand and contribute to the development of brand strategy goals, priorities, and tactics.

  • Lead the Patient Support portion of dynamic brand planning and carve out focused objectives that align with overall strategy.

  • Working closely with the customer-facing marketing team (HCP, patient, IDNs etc) shape the marketing messages/promotional materials as they relate to access and reimbursement

  • Ensure synchronous messaging between PAR and the brand team to maintain a unified voice.

  • Build compelling presentations that convey complex information in an engaging manner

  • Translate PAR services/messaging for Sales teams, ensuring clarity and effectiveness in communication.

  • Draft compelling messaging that resonates with target audiences and enhances sales efforts.

  • Lead development and execution of Bone Access resources and trainings for sales meetings

  • Mobilize Capability and Cross-Functional teams to achieve strategic goals and objectives and serve as the RAPID response lead to deal with customer support issues

  • Manage relationships with multiple vendors, including the generation of Statements of Work (SOW) and budget oversight.

This position is part of the Patient Access team and reports to the Executive Director of Patient Access. This position will lead two Sr. Marketing Managers.

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree and 4 years of sales, marketing, contracting and/or pricing, finance, accounting, analytics, healthcare, or sales operations experience

Or

Masters degree and 8 years of sales, marketing, contracting and/or pricing, finance, accounting, analytics, healthcare, or sales operations experience

Or

Bachelors degree and 10 years of sales, marketing, contracting and/or pricing, finance, accounting, analytics, healthcare, or sales operations experience

In addition to meeting at least one of the above requirements, you must have at least 4 years of experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs, or directing the allocation or resources. Your managerial experience may run concurrently with the required technical experience referenced above.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of Access Marketing and/or Sales Leadership experience

  • Leadership experience

  • Direct US payer, managed care, and reimbursement experience and/or health policy experience.

  • Experience developing strategies to optimize patient access within highly competitive markets.

  • Experience and/or familiarity with the design and implementation of patient access support and programs

  • Experience with buy-and-bill products

  • Planning and/or experience in product commercialization

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in a matrix environment; handling projects involving multiple functions and shared accountabilities.

  • Creativity and proactivity in addressing strategic challenges.

  • Ability to influence without authority

  • Works effectively in a team and seeks opinions and insights to build alignment around key objectives and exercise influence at all levels.

  • Develops and delivers concise, relevant, and well-supported briefings and adapts presentation style with knowledge, credibility, and maturity to influence senior management.

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
