Job Description
- Strategy: Lead the development of siRNA build out strategies in collaboration with key therapeutic area partners in immunology, oncology and neurology.
- Execution: Foster a collaborative culture to implementing our siRNA strategy plan to advance our genetic medicine portfolio.
- Innovation: Leverage internal expertise in antibody engineering and conjugation to deliver breakthrough advances in targeted delivery.
- Capacity: Identify and build core capacities for siRNA design, screen and optimization for target validation and lead generation.
- Biotherapeutics & Genetic Medicine (BGM) Early Discovery Representation: Build productive partnerships with therapeutic area partners and alignment with ABC hub in support of BGM TA leads and Functional Area (Small Molecule Therapeutics and Platform Technologies & Genomic Research Center) and Development Science partners.
Qualifications
- PhD in Science or related field with > 10 years of postdoctoral or industry experience.
- Previous experience in leading siRNA platform and/or portfolio programs beyond the liver is required.
- Proven ability to innovate with a history of successful new or improved product releases.
- Ability to advise discipline experts and leaders within the function on how to manage their particular risks.
- Interacts well with diverse groups and maintains a strong working relationship with internal and external collaborators.
- Listens and understands others' point of views and articulates tactfully and respectfully one's own perspective orally, in writing, and in presentations.
- Interpersonal skills capable of negotiating and reconciling interdisciplinary differences, optimizing overall business goals.
