Site New Hampshire, located in West Lebanon, is where Novo Nordisk’s life-saving treatments are brought to life. Our manufacturing facility produces a global supply of our hemophilia and growth hormone product lines, as well as our next generation of cutting-edge medications.

The Position

At Novo Nordisk, interns will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced industry professionals and gain valuable, hands-on, full-time work experience. For twelve (12) weeks the IT Intern will be developing solutions with Microsoft (MS) Platforms, as a developer. 

 

The Early Talent Program will require on-site work at our West Lebanon, NH facility.

Program Start: May 27, 2025.

Program End: August 15, 2025.

Schedule: Monday-Friday (8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.)

 

Relationships

Reports to the IT Manager. Directly supports a business or a function. Contacts are primarily within immediate work unit but may include internal departments, visitors and customers. Build relationships with other participants in the Summer Early Talent Internship Program. 

 

Essential Functions

  • Design end-to-end solutions that improve collaboration, productivity, and knowledge sharing. Work directly with users collecting and identifying functional requirements as well as support various projects and solutions. Coordinates with internal process subject-matter-experts (SME’s), operational analysts and business stakeholders.
  • Document business requirements, data flows, identifying best tool sets, and work processes. Been involved with all technical activities from prototyping to scaling up, such as estimating, sprint planning, software development life cycle activities, code reviews, testing, research, deployments, and documentation creation.
  • Maintain current knowledge and necessary documentation of relevant technologies and business processes which includes and is not limited to interface agreements, SLA, Guide/Instructions, configuration specifications. Technical diagrams
  • Perform all job duties and responsibilities in a compliant and ethical manner and in accordance with all applicable healthcare laws, regulations, and industry codes. 
  • Incorporates the Novo Nordisk Way and 10 Essentials in all activities and interactions with others

    Qualifications

  • Must be currently attending an accredited four-year college or university pursing a Bachelor's or Master's degree with a related IT major
  • A completed or in progress degree in or a related discipline preferred
  • Strong academic record with a preferred cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Conscientious self-starter with good organizational skills, project management skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to balance multiple projects and priorities, must be able to multi-task
  • Strong interpersonal communication and ability to collaborate with teams; must effectively operate independently, across functional lines, and with internal customers
  • Demonstrated personal initiative, self-motivation, flexibility, adaptability and willingness to learn
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
