Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$57,750 - $129,800Join the innovative Indianapolis Parenteral Learning and Development Team, where we lead the charge in crafting and implementing pioneering training strategies for a large, dynamic manufacturing site. We are on the lookout for a dedicated and energetic Learning and Development Associate who excels in technical writing and is adept at using a variety of technologies, including the latest advancements, to deliver impactful training outcomes. In this pivotal role, you will be at the forefront of developing, implementing, and evaluating standard operating procedures (SOPs) and training programs that elevate the skills and knowledge of our learners, ensuring they are fully equipped to excel in their tasks.

Responsibilities:In this role, you will be responsible for creating, revising, and implementing standard operating procedures, training programs, and related instructional materials for our manufacturing facility. You will ensure that all documents are delivered on time, adhere to established formats and templates, and follow both corporate and local policies to meet all regulatory requirements and commitments. As the learning and development associate, you will:
- Work closely with functional leaders, subject matter experts, and end users to understand training needs and align programs with strategic objectives.
- Apply current and new technology to design and develop comprehensive courses and programs, including instructional materials to deliver positive learner outcomes.
- Stay current with technological advancements and recommend innovative solutions to improve training effectiveness.
- Manage learning management systems (LMS) to deliver and track training program compliance and efficiency, while supporting trainers and supervisors in the use of the systems.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization to ensure document/project timelines are met and to promote an environment of continuous learning and development.
- Maintain a safe work environment, lead safety initiatives, and support Corporate and Site safety goals.
- Bachelor's degree OR High school diploma/GED and at least 3 years of experience developing and implementing training preferably in a regulated environment.
- Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Lilly will not provide support for or sponsor work authorization and/or visas for this role.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Adaptability and a willingness to learn new skills and technologies.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
- Familiarity with virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) technologies for training purposes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- This is an onsite position in a manufacturing facility with limited remote working, typical workdays will be – Monday through Friday, but there will be times of evening/weekend work to ensure the full site is supported
- Minimal travel required
