The Position

The Senior Manager, Patient Support Analytics will be responsible for leading the analysis and interpretation of patient support program data to drive strategic decision-making and optimize program effectiveness. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that patient support initiatives are data-driven, impactful, and aligned with organizational goals.

 

Relationships

This position reports to the Associate Director, Patient Insights LEAD. Other key relationships include interactions with Patient Support Services, Information Technology, Data Governance, Brand Teams, Market Access, Finance, and other NNI and global stakeholders.  External relationships include relations with external consultants, patient support service providers and organizations.

 

Essential Functions

  • Data Analysis and Interpretation
  • Collect and analyze data from various patient support programs to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement
  • Develop and utilize advanced analytical models to assess program effectiveness and patient outcomes
  • Provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis to enhance patient support services and drive strategic initiatives
  • Program Optimization
  • Lead the optimization of patient support programs by leveraging data insights to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and patient satisfaction
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of existing programs, identifying opportunities for enhancement and innovation
  • Collaborate with program managers to implement data-driven changes and measure their impact
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams including PSS, Market Access, Finance, and IT to ensure alignment and integration of patient support analytics
    • Partner with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide relevant insights to support decision-making
    • Facilitate regular meetings and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to senior leadership and other key stakeholders
  • Reporting and Documentation
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive reports and dashboards to track program performance and key metrics
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all analytical processes, methodologies, and findings
  • Present complex data in a clear and concise manner to non-technical audiences
  • Leadership and Development
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in patient support analytics and data science
  • Encourage innovation and adopt new analytical tools and techniques to enhance capabilities

    Physical Requirements

    0-10% overnight travel required.

     

    Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree required with a minimum of 8 years of experience in data management and reporting; advanced degree preferred
  • Experience with advanced analytical tools and software (e.g., SQL, R, Python, Tableau)
  • Experience with pharmaceutical Longitudinal Access & Adjudication Data (LAAD) required
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • 5 years pharmaceutical industry experience required
  • Proven ability to monitor, track and develop programs, and adhere to timelines
  • Proven experience developing successful data visualization tools
  • Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to translate data into insights and actionable recommendations
