Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location.  The anticipated wage for this position is

$27.04 - $45.07

This position will report to the Senior Director, Global Security – Anti-Counterfeiting Investigations in Indianapolis. The role is located in Indianapolis, IN (on-site, not remote) and will support Global Security activities and serves as a direct resource on matters affecting the security of employees, facilities and assets and product investigations. The successful candidate will have a global view, as well as experience interacting with a diverse workforce in an international setting. This role would require a blend of analytical skills, technological proficiency, and an understanding of the pharmaceutical landscape to effectively support Lilly’s Executive Protection (EP) Team.

  • Enhance protective intelligence program.
  • Conduct proactive research into potential risks to the company and monitor external media feeds for threats to the company's facilities and/or leadership.
  • Draft and disseminate intelligence threat assessments to ensure the safety and security of the company's executives.
  • Assist the EP team with operation plans, site advances, and liaise with relevant private and government agencies.
  • Provide real-time intelligence support to the EP team, utilizing data from multiple open sources, technology tools, and third-party vendors.
  • Monitor geopolitical and relevant emergent situations through designated tools, open-source information, social media, and other vendor-provided resources that could impact Eli Lilly Global Operations.
  • Monitor and administer travel security operations, including tracking, assisting, and advising international travelers on security issues worldwide.
  • Build relationships through external engagement, participation in conferences, and training exercises to stay updated on the latest industry standards.
  • Assist in other Global Security investigations by conducting open-source and social media research and making recommendations.
  • Collaborate with the EP team to resolve threats or incidents.
  • Conduct threat assessments involving executive travel, events, speaking engagements, conferences, physical security threats, and brand and reputation concerns.
  • Facilitate the flow of information to relevant internal partners.
  • Prepare link charts and other analytical reports that offer recommendations and insights associated with Global Security’s EP strategy.
  • Monitor and analyze web-based technology and create filtering programs to detect threats and vulnerabilities.

Required Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in a government agency, private intelligence firm, or law enforcement organization in an intelligence analyst position preferably within EP environment
  • High school diploma
  • Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Lilly will not provide support for or sponsor work authorization and/or visas for this role.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret complex data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience working alongside EP teams.
  • Critical Thinking: The ability to analyze complex datasets to provide recommendations.

  • Will be expected to work outside the normal daytime work hours on occasion.
