The Position

This position handles operational tasks for the Ethics & Compliance (E&C) department, ensuring projects follow project management best practices. Reporting to the Associate Director, E&C Program Strategy & Operations, this role supports NNI Ethics & Compliance systems and processes.

 

Relationships

Reports to the Associate Director, E&C Program Strategy & Operations. Works closely with the E&C Leadership team, NNI Legal team, Global Business Services (GBS) teams in Bangalore and Mexico, E&C colleagues across Novo Nordisk globally, and leaders across lines of business. Supports US affiliates, including Novo Nordisk production sites in Calyton, North Carolina and Novo Nordisk US-based research affiliates. External relationships include vendors and consultants as well as developing and maintaining relationships with the broader ethics and compliance network within the industry.

 

Essential Functions

  • Supports enterprise-facing E&C processes as day-to-day point of contact for the business and other stakeholders
  • Manages specific E&C workstreams
  • Assists the Director, E&C Program Strategy & Operations in identifying and pulling through process optimization
  • Assist in planning and execution of special projects, including managing plans, timelines, and deliverables
  • Participates in meetings and prepares agendas, minutes, and other relevant documentation
  • Supports the Director, E&C Program Strategy & Operations in raising awareness of the Compliance program and fostering accountability for compliance throughout the organization
  • Responsible for ensuring that E&C senior management is informed of compliance issues in a timely manner
  • Provides additional support to other departmental functions, as needed

    Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree required
  • A minimum of two (2) years working in healthcare compliance or project management/coordination
  • High standard of ethics and integrity
  • Ability to partner collaboratively and effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to think objectively using sound reasoning principles
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  •
