The Position

The purpose of the role is to provide crucial insights on NNI performance from a consolidated P&L perspective, including regular reporting to senior stakeholders in NNI and HQ, proactive monitoring of financial impact and market dynamics.

 

Additionally, this role is responsible for supporting key strategic processes in finance and consolidation across NNI. Key processes include but are not limited to the Anchor Budget, Rolling Estimate, quarterly and yearly closing, BRM meetings etc.

 

Moreover, the role is responsible for driving process improvements and operational efficiency while supporting the organization's financial analysis and resource allocation. The role must have a mindset of continuous improvements and should identify and implement key process improvements as needed. The AM drives and supports projects to ensure further standardization, use of digitalization and implementation of best practices.

 

Relationships

Reports to the Head of Sales Reporting and FP&A. Interacts with all levels of the business and partners heavily with the Finance and Supply Chain leadership team and HQ stakeholders.

 

Essential Functions

  • Support Head of NNI Sales reporting and FP&A with managing NNI P&L, ongoing operations/reporting. Drives transparency and simplicity to empower decisions regarding budget, realization and potential investment options
  • Assist in the preparation of reports on financial performance of NNI with focus on linking sales and costs, the overall story and key opportunities and challenges. Monitor financial performance and provide insights on key metrics
  • Brings recommendations and strategic implications to leaders in Finance and Supply Chain to enable consolidation and broader communication of key messages. Frequently interacts with senior leadership on the financial performance
  • Assist in the coordination of budget and forecast processes and support the consolidation of financial data from various departments:
  • a) The NNI AB process by managing the overall timeline and deliverables to enable consolidation of the NNI P&L. Partner closely with commercial business partners, G2N, and volume forecast teams to understand and incorporate demand trends, business risks and opportunities into the overall story
  • b) Provide support in the preparation of materials for meetings and presentations for e.g. BRM, HQ/NAO Finance to Finance meetings
  • Support Operational Effectiveness and Efficiency in relation to financial processes. Continuously evaluate opportunities to optimize in order to deliver the results in the most effective way. Ensure close cross-functional collaboration within NNI and towards the broader NN organization including IO and HQ to ensure use of best practices for financial management, analysis and forecasting

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree within Finance, Business Administration or similar required. Solid relevant experience may be substituted for degree when appropriate
  • Experience in financial management, reporting and business partnering with project management experience is preferred
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is an advantage
  • Strong focus on process management, optimization, and structured workflows with high level of proactivity, energy, and ability to support projects
  • Ability to build strong stakeholder relations and communicate clearly both written and verbally
  • Ambitious mindset with a continuous improvement approach and a desire to simplify the way we operate and generate new ideas. Strong ability to condense complicated data to key messages and recommendations
