About the Department

The Diabetes Sales Team leads the US sales efforts for Novo Nordisk’s robust cardiometabolic product portfolio, which includes world class therapies for the treatment of diabetes, obesity, and the reduction of adverse cardiovascular events. The Position

This Analyst role is responsible for all operations associated with assessing, implementing alignment changes for all teams across NNI (Cardiometabolic, Rare Disease and Market Access). The role also involves working closely with Roster management team, IT and askHR to ensure that the alignment changes are accurately reflected in the downstream systems. Additionally, this position will support the Alignment lead in evolving the process and Systems, handling adhoc requests and field inquires.

 

Relationships

Reports to the Senior Manager Alignment and operations. In this role, the Sr. Analyst, Field Alignment Operations will support both the Director, Field Alignment and Call plan Ops and the Alignment lead. The person will work closely with Sales and Market access teams to understand their specific alignment needs and to ensure that alignment strategies are aligned with broader organizational goals. The role with also collaborate with IT and askHR.

 

Essential Functions

  • Territory Alignment: Support the process of territory alignments for various teams, ensuring that field teams are strategically positioned to engage with healthcare providers, institutions, and other relevant stakeholders
  • Ensure that the alignment changes for each team are accurately documented and aligned with the overall strategic objectives of the organization
  • Maintaining the data base of Alignment changes happening in a structured way
  • Helps with systems training approach, content, and cadence in partnership with training counterpart and the various Field Operations teams
  • Manage multiple projects and provide clear communication from design to post-project completion
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of alignment processes and operations streamlining
  • Implement collaborative platforms that facilitate cross-functional communication and knowledge sharing between sales, IT, HR and Market Access teams, ensuring that alignment strategies are well-informed and cohesive across different functions
  • Change Management: Supporting the implementation of new alignment strategies, providing necessary training and resources to field teams, and facilitating a smooth transition to new alignment structures
  • Addressing ad-hoc questions related to the call plan and alignment throughout the cycle
  • Develop platform for monitoring the performance of alignment strategies and gathering feedback from teams. This information can be used to assess the impact of the alignments and identify areas for improvement
  • Gather feedback from users regarding the usability and effectiveness of the vendor tools for alignment. Use this Feedback to drive iterative improvements and refinements to the tools' functionalities

    Physical Requirements

    0-10% overnight travel required.

     

    Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree required
  • 1+ years of experience in pharma domain/data are required
  • Strong data analysis experience & Proficiency in Excel and Access required
  • Experience in operations/analytical field is preferred
  • Data visualization: QlikSense or Tableau are preferred
  • Ability to work with large sets of data and proficiency in any programming skill preferred
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • This position is part of a job family. Title and level within the job family are evaluated based on a number of factors, such as years of experience, scope of work, proficiency, and business need. Candidates will be assessed for the most appropriate title and level within the job family during the recruitment process. The base range of pay for this position is $73,000 to $137,280 In addition, this position is eligible for a company bonus based on individual and company performance.
