The Position

The Associate Director, Strategic Execution role is responsible for assisting the Executive Director, of Patient Support Solutions (PSS) in developing, communicating, and executing cross-functional initiatives. The position serves as a strategic implementer for the ED and PSS leadership team, in planning and coordinating prioritized operational and strategic activities. The role will be central in developing and driving a department roadmap for PSS to enhance and optimize how the department engages with the organization and creates value for NNI. This role provides oversight to the annual team planning processes to ensure the effective integration of strategies into operations. In addition, the role is responsible for proactively driving and creating presentations for senior stakeholder audiences and other relevant presentations for the ED of PSS.

 

Relationships

The Associate Director interacts regularly with the PSS LT, Enterprise Insights LT, Strategic Advisors across the business, and other key stakeholders. Other relationships include Commercial Strategy & Marketing, Finance Insights & Enterprise Solutions, P&O. External relationships include consulting partners, technology, and implementation partners.

 

Essential Functions

  • Responsible for facilitating PSS department meetings, including weekly standups, LT meetings, extended leadership team meetings, and Town Halls
  • Establish strategic partnership with FIES, CS&M and Patient Safety, with the intent to build interconnectivity and unified insights across NNI
  • Oversee the building of the PSS departmental development strategy on an annual basis.  Determine gaps and opportunities within the department and engage internal and external partners to create a curriculum for growth
  • Lead the creation and coordination of executive level presentations across all of PSS, Includes facilitation in front of senior leaders as appropriate
  • Lead the AB/Business Planning process across PSS on an annual basis. Partner with finance and across all PSS teams to create the plan, overseeing significant budget and resources
  • As needed, project manage significant cross functional PSS initiatives including but not limited to the annual promotions cycle. Lead and support PSS initiatives and special projects

  • Act as PSS representative to strategic execution working group across FIES
  • Establish strategic business partner relationships with key stakeholders
  • Develop innovative solutions to unstructured, complex problems; recommendations have significant impact on company (time, people, budget) resources
  • Champion the Triple Bottom Line in business analytics and internal strategy consulting
  • Demonstrate creative simple approaches toward solving complex problems
  • Pro-actively seek process improvement opportunities by challenging existing processes, proposing solutions, and driving approved implementation plan
  • Strive to develop and deploy innovative approaches and maintain awareness of 'best practices' across industries by maintaining a current familiarity with analytics and field business assessments

    0-10% overnight travel required.

     

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required
  • 8+ years relevant experience
  • Experience operating in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering high quality and innovative PSS solutions
  • Strong communication abilities, able to synthesize complex ideas and data into clear and effective message/presentations
  • Experience interacting with and influencing senior level leadership within an organization
  • Experience as a Project Leader responsible for complex project where input and alignment are needed across multiple stakeholders including VP level or above
  • Deals with concepts and complexity comfortably
  • Excellent administrative, organizational, project management and analytical skills
  • Experience managing project budgets and resources
  • Customer focused with excellent communication skills and ability to work with all levels within organization
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
