The PositionThe “Senior Architect – Data Management & AI” is a technical leader with a deep understanding of business goals, business processes and solutions architecture who designs and supports the development of technology solutions to ensure that solutions meet business needs and align with architectural standards. RelationshipsReports to a member of the IT Management Team. Interacts with internal stakeholders across business units as well as external suppliers and partners Essential Functions- Lead evaluation, design, and analysis of enterprise-wide solutionsTranslate business and technical requirements into an architectural blueprint to achieve business objectivesProvides a point of contact for supporting the applications in support of one or more specific business processes or areasWorks on the projects and initiatives assigned by IT management teamLeads in the development and/or maintenance of technical documents. Reconciles solution design with business requirements. Designs application prototypes when necessaryDesign solution recommendations and alternatives to satisfy customer needsCollaborate with enterprise architecture, information security, applications and infrastructure teams to produce optimal designsDelivers messages and presentations in a clear, confident manner. Produce technical documentation of systems and architecturesEnsure compliance of solutions to architectural standardsAct as a consultant on a broad range of technologies, platforms and vendor offerings focused on solutions in the Commercial Data Mgt and Analytics solution spaceActs as a primary liaison between the business or function and vendor to provide updates, ensure alignment and monitors vendor activitiesLeverages knowledge of risk management standards for current processes, projects, and systems
- Education Level: Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, computer science, Data Science or related field preferredExperience Level: 8+ years related experience in architecture, design, and implementation experienceStrong background in application and solution development in data management and AI/MLProficiency in solution design, data management, data integration, data cleansing, and the application of model design, evaluation, and development techniques, specifically within the realm of data management and AI/MLExperience in Snowflake, Python, SQL, Dataiku, AWS, Azure, ETL (Informatica IICS etc.) Knowledge of utilizing Snowflake and Dataiku to build and deploy AI/ML modelsGood knowledge of data modelling & data warehousing conceptsProficiency in data cleaning, feature engineering, and data normalization to prepare the data for model training.Understanding of statistical methods and tools for data analysis and model evaluation.Familiarity with neural network architectures, including convolutional neural networks (CNNs), recurrent neural networks (RNNs), and deep learning frameworks.Knowledge of all phases of the project and system development methodologiesExcellent technical writing, document organization, technical document review and analytical thinking skillsExcellent presentation skills with knowledge of various presentation frameworks for persuasionExcellent interpersonal, negotiation, written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of Pharmaceutical Data like IQVIA, Komodo, Veeva, Customer or Product Master SystemsKnowledge of BI reportingExperiences in agile development and testingDemonstrated problem solver with an ability to provide technical solutions to a wide range of complex problems
