About ProBio
ProBio proactively provides end-to-end CDMO service from drug discovery to commercialization with proactive strategies, professional solutions and efficient processes in cell and gene therapy (CGT), vaccine, biologics discovery and antibody protein drug to accelerate drug development for customers. ProBio’s total cell and gene therapy solution covers CMC of plasmid and virus for IND filing as well as clinical manufacturing and commercial manufacturing. In terms of plasmid service, ProBio supports the most clinical approvals for CGT drugs including mRNA vaccines, CAR-T in China. It is also the first GMP manufacturing platform to provide in vitro transcription (IVT) template linearized plasmids for mRNA vaccines and has supported several mRNA vaccine global enterprises to obtain clinical approvals. Job Scope: We are seeking a dynamic Product Manager to serve as the key product owner and champion for our gene and cell therapy services in the US market. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of technical knowledge, marketing experience, stakeholder management skills, excellent project management abilities, and strong communication expertise. This role will advocate for the customer while driving product develop
Key Responsibilities:
- Launch Planning Support: Collaborate with the cross functional team (Marketing, Production, R&D, Finance, Logistics, Business Development, etc.) to prepare and execute launch plans for new service offerings.
- Market Trend Analysis: Identify emerging market trends, opportunities, and challenges. Gather feedback from sales teams and customers to inform broader market development strategies.
- Product Development Roadmap: Develop and maintain a comprehensive product development roadmap for ProBio’s service portfolio, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Strategic Planning Participation: Actively participate in and contribute to the strategic planning processes at both the business unit and enterprise levels.
- Business Initiatives Leadership: Independently establish and lead business initiatives that drive commercial success, aligning with the overall business strategy in the US market.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders (Production, R&D, Finance, Logistics, Business Development, etc.) to manage individual new product development projects effectively.
- Customer Advocacy: Support production teams in managing existing business operations by acting as the customer’s advocate, fostering consensus among stakeholders.
- Market Research: Conduct primary market research to identify technology trends, market dynamics, and customer needs within the gene and cell therapy landscape.
- KOL Engagement: Work with regional market teams to engage and manage Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and implement a systematic competitor analysis to understand the competitive landscape.ment and market strategies.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of commercial or product marketing and product management experience in the Cell and Gene Therapy (CGT) industry.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of viral vector technology and its applications is highly preferred.
- Education: Advanced degree (Master's level) in Business, Biochemistry, Biology, or a related field is preferred.
- International Business Acumen: Proven ability to operate effectively and succeed in an international business environment.
- Travel Requirement: Willingness to travel up to 30% as needed.
