Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location.  The anticipated wage for this position is

$28.12 - $46.88

This position is within the FUME (Facilities, Utilities, Maintenance, Engineering) organization of the manufacturing team and supports ongoing operations by overseeing FUME activities within the plant. The role is based around GMP manufacturing activities and must align with current regulatory/compliance requirements, mentors, and expectations from global enforcement agencies.

Responsibilities:
  • Adheres to all safety policies and procedures; contributes to a safe work environment.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain equipment maintenance strategies to optimize equipment safe operation, compliance, cost, and efficiency/effectiveness of assets.
  • Schedules and coordinates maintenance work/strategies for B358 CT Manufacturing (PMs, corrective work, job plans, datasheets, etc.).
  • Act as CMMS technical resource.
  • Leads shutdown work and schedule compliance.
  • Provides engineering support for B358 CT Manufacturing Facilities. Including support of HVAC/UAF applications in aseptic manufacturing; Utilities and GMP Utilities (WFI, Clean Steam, PCA, etc.).
  • Participates in audits and safety reviews, as required.
  • Participates in periodic reviews of FUME-owned systems as required.
  • Participates in deviation investigations and reviews related to utilities operations and maintenance (RCFA’s, etc.).
  • Provides contractor and vendor coordination.
  • Provides input into capital projects and provide support on delivery of projects. This may include planning, executing, purchasing equipment, etc.
  • Performs routine walk through of area and alarm review.
  • Provide field support to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve equipment issues.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum of High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Maintenance/engineering experience (3 years preferred).
Additional Skills and Preferences:
  • Parenteral manufacturing experience
  • Process and/or HVAC technician experience
  • Proficient in GMARS
  • Strong understanding of quality and maintenance systems in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, off-shifts.
  • Basic computer skills with a demonstrated ability to learn.
  • Demonstrated team player with a willingness to work with individuals spanning several levels (exempt and non-exempt).
  • Ability to wear safety equipment and work in an aseptic environment.

Other Information: 

  • Monday through Friday Day Shift (8 hours)
  • Occasional off-hour support (0-10%) may be required
  • Occasional travel (0–10%) may be required for training, conferences, capital projects, etc.
