JOB LOCATION: Cambridge, MA
POSITION: Scrum Master
POSITION DESCRIPTION: Takeda Pharmaceuticals USA, Inc. is seeking a Scrum Master with the following duties: Guide the team on how to use scrum and Agile practices and methodologies to improve collaboration and team output; Manage and facilitate the scrum team’s daily work including execution of Sprint Ceremonies (e.g., Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-up, Sprint Review and Retrospective); Work with peer Scrum Masters, Release Train Engineers, Agile Coaches, to increase the effectiveness of Scaled Agile; Collaborates with Product Owner and Technical Leads to understand business problem, product(s), and ensure features and user stories are clear, concise, prioritized, and understood by every member of the Agile team; Responsible for capturing and tracking sprint metrics (e.g., team velocity), and being accountable for the continuous improvement of the scrum team. Create and maintain Project roadmap to ensure effective tracking of Business Initiatives. Telecommuting allowed 5 days per month.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering, Industrial and Productions Engineering or related field plus 5 years of related experience. Prior experience must include: Actively Facilitated in the Scrum Ceremonies such as Backlog Grooming / refinement, Sprint Planning meeting, Daily Scrum, Sprint review meeting and Sprint retrospective; Effectively created and documented deliverables like Information Radiators (Burn-up – Burn-down charts) to transparently communicate with all the Stakeholders and also track the teams’ progress; Successfully facilitated Program level agile ceremonies like Quarterly PI Planning, Operational readiness assessments, firmwide and business acceptance testing, bug triaging and partner facing delivery cadence; Actively involved in tracking the teams’ Agility Health Radar and proposing improvements in necessary areas.
Full time. $132,500 - $186,000 per year. Competitive compensation and benefits.
