Job DescriptionAbout the role:Join Takeda as a Global Oncology Ethics & Compliance Business Partner, director level, where you will ensure ethical behaviors, which plays a fundamental role in risk mitigation. You will also be a key forward-thinking leader in risk identification and mitigation and build an innovative function supporting achievement of Takeda’s Vision. Additionally, Ethics & Compliance (E&C) will respond rapidly to changing environment and business needs; it is close to the market, and encourages ethical behavior in line with Takeda’s values. By working in an agile manner E&C ensuring the balance between stable structures, governance, processes and systems, and dynamic approaches to delivering innovative solutions to appropriately manage our risks. As part of the Ethics & Compliance Oncology team, you will report to Head of Ethics & Compliance, Global Oncology Business Unit (GOBU) and work with Global Oncology Medical Affairs, Global Oncology Patient Value and Access, and Global Oncology Products & Pipeline Strategy teams.
How you will contribute:Provide proactive business engagement and support to Global Medical, Global Patient Value and Access, Global Oncology Products & Pipeline Strategy or other relevant global oncology functions
Ensure implementation of the elements of Takeda’s Ethics & Compliance program in Global OBU functions
Act as a catalyst in shaping the organizational mindset around a Values based culture to firmly embed ethical decision making principles in OBU
Evaluates and advises the OBU global teams in compliance risks related to their activities, evaluates and escalates issues as needed.
Ensure alignment and support toex-US OBU businesses (i.e., Eucan and Japan OBU) , including closer liaison with country E&C colleagues. Coordinate E&C OBU countries quarterly meetings.
Increase business acumen by obtaining therapeutic and product knowledge to support current and pipeline products
Provide input into global E&C Policies/SOPs, and engages in initiatives or programs as relevant and interface with other E&C teams for OBU support
Coordinate the implementation of E&C initiatives and projects which impact Global OBU
Support the management and creation of OBU E&C specific SOPs and related trainings that are relevant to the global functions
Minimum of 8 years of Ethics & Compliance experience, with at least 5 years as part of healthcare or pharmaceutical industry, obtained preferably and primarily in the business partner area.
While specificethics & compliance business partner experience is strongly preferred, substantive experience gained in role(s) where the handling of compliance-related matters form part of such role(s) would also be considered.
Strong understanding of pharma market.
Demonstrated knowledge of key laws, regulations and industry best practice standards.
Experience in aligning potential, present and future compliance risks related to the business, including risk identification, controls & risk mitigation of potential non-compliance.
Deep insights into ethical business decision making and very strong stakeholder-facing interactions and leadership by influence abilities.

Boston, MAU.S. Base Salary Range:
169,400.00 - 266,200.00The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/or long-termincentives. U.S.based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S.based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendar year, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
