Regeneron commercializes medicines for eye diseases, high LDL-cholesterol, and a rare inflammatory condition and has product candidates in development in other areas of high unmet medical need, including oncology, rheumatoid arthritis, asthma, atopic dermatitis, pain, and infectious diseases.

The Associate Director will be responsible for bringing best in class digital capabilities and innovative solutions to reach Oncology patients and Health Care Professionals to increase the brand equity and business, builds loyalty with customers, and ensures brand resonates with current and potential customers. This candidate will lead Digital Marketing for the Oncology brand across customers. Primary areas of responsibility will be to lead, develop, and implement comprehensive digital and non-personal marketing plans for the Oncology indications. Specifically, this will include digital strategy and execution, media strategy and planning across HCP and DTC, agency and budget management, digital campaign plan development and implementation.

A typical day may include the following:

  • Bring best in class capabilities, across digital, social, etc, and develop innovative solutions to reach Oncology customers, inclusive of patients and HCPs, across tumor types

  • Develop Global digital brand marketing plans/campaigns across indications and customers

  • Ensure innovative solutions and best practices are leveraged for reaching Patients, caregivers, and HCPs

  • Create omnichannel experience to reach to patients and HCPs across their journeys and utilize patient and HCP insights to discover progressive platforms and additional opportunities to reach customers across the digital ecosystem. Omnichannel experience needed for US and Global markets

  • Understand and leverage trends in the marketplace and competitive benchmarking to inform strategies for digital marketing programs

  • Lead the development of a global strategic media plan across indications to leverage efficiencies across platforms and channels. Oversee media planning and buying across digital and offline channels such as Online Video, Programmatic and endemic display, Social and Search (SEM/SEO)

  • Ability to interpret data from multiple sources such as marketing mix models, analytics, and market research to build actionable insights and optimizations

  • Ensure cost effective delivery of all programs while tracking and monitoring KPIs

  • Discover synergies between Consumer marketing, HCP marketing, patient support services, and corporate comms to ensure a unified message is delivered across indications and customers

  • Partner with regulatory, medical, and legal to align on creative and messaging and represent materials for reviews during weekly joint regulatory council meetings

  • Manage multiple agencies to build creative across the digital ecosystem (eg. website, banners, social ads, emails)

  • Demonstrated competency in media planning and execution to ensure proper mix and optimization

  • Strong project and process management skills, along with the ability to work on multiple tasks, and to effectively prioritize

  • Provide data driven strategic insights to inform all patient/ consumer marketing programs and tactics

  • Strong interpersonal skills demonstrating emotional intelligence, both internally & externally

  • Proven team player with ability to navigate cross functionally

  • Strong analytical skills both quantitative and qualitative

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have 10+ years of related progressive pharmaceutical industry or relevant professional experience; 3+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech marketing, product management, or related/relevant professional experience. Media planning competency strongly preferred. Bachelor's Degree Required, MBA preferred. Oncology experience a plus. Must be willing to travel up to 25% (including weekend travel as needed).

Salary Range (annually)

$151,800.00 - $247,800.00
