Job Details
We are seeking a curious and motivated Senior Associate Scientist the Viral Delivery Technologies Team within Regeneron Genetics Medicines. As a team member, you will provide analytical testing, method transfer, and development support for the AAV Production Core. Your expertise will be applied to make immediate contributions to the field of next-generation genetic medicine through cross-functional collaboration with various teams, driving innovation and excellence in our projects.
As a Senior Associate Scientist, a typical day might include:
Supporting analytical testing and method development for AAV vectors.
Conducting method transfer and validation for various assays.
Providing technical input as an analytical expert to support multiple workstreams.
Developing and optimizing analytical techniques to assess the quality and efficacy of AAV vectors.
Training on AAV production techniques to support high throughput AAV production.
Presenting of data and findings to internal teams and stakeholders.
Managing inventory, ordering supplies, and ensuring lab safety compliance.

In order to be considered for this role, you must have at least a BS/MS with a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience. We need someone with industry experience with analytical testing, method development, and validation. Must have experience with immunoassays, qPCR, SDS-PAGE, and Western Blot. Experience with Waters HPLC/UPLC systems and Empower software is strongly preferred. Familiarity with ddPCR/dPCR, tissue culture, or viral production is very advantageous. Experience developing and optimizing protocols, assays, or SOPs is highly desirable. Must be comfortable asking questions, taking notes, and summarizing high-level takeaways.
