We are seeking a highly motivated Scientist to join our Vector Process Development team as a part of Regeneron Cell Medicines (RCM) based in Cambridge, MA. You will be responsible for development of robust, cost-effective, scalable and transferable lentiviral vector (LVV) manufacturing for early and late-stage cell therapy programs. We hope you are excited by the opportunity to directly support current pipeline programs in process development and CMC activities, as well as drive cutting-edge technology development of next generation vector platform.

As a Scientist, a typical day might include:

  • Carrying out routine PD-grade viral vector production operations at both bench scale and pilot scale, including but not limited to media preparation, culture initiation, seed train maintenance and bioreactor operations

  • Performing viral vector production experiments to assess the impact of process changes and new technologies to drive critical innovation projects for next generation LVV production platform

  • Developing experimental plans, interpret scientific results, and provide statistical analysis where appropriate

  • Supporting technology transfer activities to manufacturing partners as upstream SME

  • Generating and maintaining critical data in an organized way, including lab notebook maintenance with good documentation practices

In order to be considered for this role, you must have at least a BS/MS in Bioengineering, Chemical engineering, Biology, Cell Biology or related biological sciences and 6+ years of relevant experience. We need someone with a strong understanding of cell biology and hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture is required. Must have experience with bioreactors, control software, and process analytical technology. General knowledge of process development and pharmaceutical manufacturing is preferred. Experience with scale-up and pilot plant operations is a plus.

Salary Range (annually)

$92,500.00 - $151,100.00
