Position Brand Description:
This position within Global Engineering Services is dedicated to the standardized implementation and operational support of GMARS (IBM Maximo – Enterprise Asset Management System). Responsibilities encompass technical consulting, end user trainings, managing GMARS training and resource documents, compliance assistance, support for daily operations, and overseeing the Global GMARS Community of Practice SharePoint and Viva Engage pages. Additionally, the position involves facilitating the Global GMARS Community of Practice meetings on topics such as condition-based maintenance, reliability, system security, system roles and responsibilities (e.g., Data Administration, Planning/Scheduling, Maintenance Supervision, Craftsperson, Materials Management, and Calibration) for Lilly manufacturing and laboratory sites.
Key Objectives/Deliverables:
- Technical and Discipline Support:
Focus on Planning/Scheduling/Performing Maintenance, Materials Management, Equipment Reliability, Calibration, and Metrology.
Provide technical support and work to ensure global implementation of various enabling capabilities that enhance effective maintenance and equipment reliability for Manufacturing and Laboratory personnel using GMARS.
- Consultation:
Provide global assistance to sites in Maintenance and Laboratory Asset Management addressing specific problems (troubleshooting, root cause analysis and resolution), assist sites with future planning, and preform site assessments and consultations as needed.
- Knowledge sharing:
Provide ongoing technical support to site plant engineering and maintenance groups, domestic and global; provide technical mentoring to Lilly engineering/maintenance at new and existing Manufacturing and Laboratory sites.
Assist in the development and delivery of GMARS user training and the associated training materials.
- Collaborate:
Partner with technical staff and external partners to ensure proper execution of maintenance and reliability practices. Support continuous improvements and efficient use of GMARS, including aiding in the development, testing and deployment of new software releases alongside the Lilly IDS-IT team.
GMARS Change Control – draft and revise changes, participate in and lead meetings for GMARS Change Control Board.
- Monitor the effectiveness of GMARS, gather user feedback and recommend improvements to GMARS.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED 10 years work experience in maintenance or engineering (plant and /or reliability).
- Completion of Post Offer Exam, Completion of Work Simulation or Completion of Administrative Skills Testing if applicable.
- Power user in one or more areas of EAM/CMMS (GMARS-Maximo preferred) use, with ability and desire to develop in all uses.
- Experience in GMP, GLP spaces and maintenance business processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to influence others to obtain business results.
- Advanced organizational and time-management skills, with a strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated learning agility.
- Computer skills: Outlook, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Successful candidate will frequently work independently and, as such, must be a self-starter and capable of working with minimal daily direct supervision.
Additional Preferences:
CMRP (Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional) is a plus.
Technical degree is a plus.
Experience using Service Now, TOAD, OSI PI, Tableau, SQL and Power BI.
Education Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED 10 years work experience in maintenance or engineering (plant and /or reliability).

Other Information:
This position is for the dayshift. Core business hours are 9 am to 3 pm Monday through Friday. Flextime schedules based on personal and business needs. Some extended hours required to meet project deadlines.
Requires some international travel to European and Puerto Rican sites and some domestic (U.S.) travel (10-20%).
