Lilly is seeking a talented recruiter who shares our passion to make an impact on the lives of candidates, teams and ultimately patients. As part of our Talent Acquisition team, you will work directly with Research & Development (R&D) hiring managers to shape Lilly’s future by identifying and attracting extraordinary, experienced talent to the company. You will be recruiting for a company that makes a positive difference in the world.

In the Global Talent Acquisition group, we provide recruiting support to all US business areas, enabling the attraction, selection and hiring of the right talent with critical capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Proactively partner with the business to attract, select and hire diverse top talent
Develop knowledge of the business strategy, culture and deliverables.
Define an overall recruiting strategy factoring in market forces, workforce planning, and diversity initiatives.
Collaborate with R&D hiring leaders and design tailored recruitment strategies that address the specific needs of each position and utilize creative sourcing techniques to find and attract top talent.
Review resumes, source, screen, and evaluate diverse candidates through various channels, including career site, job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals.
Present most qualified screened talent to hiring managers. Conduct interviews to identify the best candidates for R&D roles.
Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future R&D positions.
Deliver an excellent experience for candidates and hiring managers in alignment with our Lilly brand.
Manage full cycle recruitment process for candidates, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate and hiring manager experience.
Develop and implement innovative diverse recruitment strategies to source & attract top talent in the R&D field.
Present and sell Lilly’s value proposition to candidates by articulating a clear and compelling message about our mission, values and business strategy.
Effectively represent the Lilly brand to all candidates in the recruitment process.
Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and provide counsel on hiring decisions and offer negotiations.
Drive the offer process, including extending offers and closing candidates.
Participate and/or lead in the planning of various career events, conferences to attract talent for current openings and pipeline for future openings.
Demonstrate recruitment expertise to the business to deliver results
Provide coaching to hiring managers regarding attracting, interviewing, and selection processes including a diversity focus throughout.
Actively establish effective working relationships with key business support personnel (HR business partners, compliance, legal, relocation, immigration).
Advise hiring managers on diversity, competitive offers and market trends.
Drive compliance in the talent acquisition process across all stakeholder group.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in R&D recruitment.
Utilize ATS, CRM technologies to identify, attract, and maintain candidate pools.
Run reports, and utilize Data and Analytics to track, measure your metrics and analyze market insights.
Use solid judgment and thrive in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
GED/HS diploma required.
4+ years of full cycle recruiting experience
Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Lilly will not provide support for or sponsor work authorization and/or visas for this role.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Passion for innovation, ability to adapt, good judgment, and a commitment to deliver excellence.
Technical Skills preferred:
Strong understanding of R&D roles and the recruiting skills required for success in this field.
Experience in sourcing, attracting, recruiting diverse candidates via job boards, professional organizations, social media, conferences, career events, candidate communications, and networking within industry-specific platforms.
Experience running mid-large scale hiring efforts. Understanding business needs, executing diverse recruiting strategy, and managing full cycle recruiting process.
Proficiency in Microsoft applications, applicant tracking systems (ATS), Candidate Relationship Management technology (Phenom) and other recruitment tools.
Experience with vendor management, and vendor relationships in the search process.
Understanding of OFCCP, EEO Compliance and DEI.

Travel: 10%
Location: Indianapolis, IN, remote may be considered

- Lilly currently anticipates that the base salary for this position could range from between $57,750 to $129,800 and will depend, in part, on the successful candidate’s qualifications for the role, including education and experience. Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance). In addition, Lilly offers a comprehensive benefit program to eligible employees, including eligibility to participate in a company-sponsored 401(k); pension; vacation benefits; eligibility for medical, dental, vision and prescription drug benefits; flexible benefits (e.g., healthcare and/or dependent day care flexible spending accounts); life insurance and death benefits; certain time off and leave of absence benefits; and well-being benefits (e.g., employee assistance program, fitness benefits, and employee clubs and activities). Of course, the compensation described above is subject to change and could be higher or lower than the range described above. Further, Lilly reserves the right to amend, modify, or terminate its compensation and benefit programs in its sole discretion and Lilly’s compensation practices and guidelines will apply regarding the details of any promotion or transfer of Lilly employees.
