The Project Manager, Global Supply Chain is responsible for supply related projects and global launch preparations for products within Eisai Demand Chain Systems (EDCS).  This individual will create, maintain, and monitor supply chain related projects and/or closely monitor and provide oversight to those projects, which are led by other individuals.  This role will also be responsible for providing an overall summary of projects, activities, and resources to the management team.   To effectively manage the various projects and activities, this individual will need to understand GMP Manufacturing, including but not limited to, Planning, Quality, and Operations to effectively challenge project deliverables and milestones.

The Project Manager, Global Supply Chain will develop robust communication processes and channels to ensure all sites and associated personnel are aware of critical timelines, changes to manufacturing processes, and upcoming regulatory filings.  Project management, team leadership, and boundary spanning across Eisai organizations are routine parts of this role.

Essential Functions

  • Defines and documents project scope, objectives and required timelines.

  • Effectively communicates with stakeholders on project timelines, risks, and support needed to ensure deliverables are completed on time and within budget.

  • Sets and manages stakeholder expectations, both internally and externally.

  • Tracks progress against agreed upon targets. Develops and implements mitigation plans for at-risk items.

  • Performs regular assessments of project execution to identify areas for improvement.

  • Tracks project performance periodically to ensure both short-term and long-term goals are met.

Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or Supply Chain related field required.


Technical:

  • 5+ years of project management experience required; Project Management Professional (PMP) certification desired.

  • 5+ years of pharmaceutical supply chain experience required; Biologics experience preferred.

  • Proficiency with innovative and collaborative applications/tools (including but not limited to MS Teams, MS Project Online, Whiteboard, SharePoint, Microsoft O365 Applications, etc.)
