Job Responsibilities
- The Strategic Account Manager, Minnesota, will work in collaboration with sales leadership to identify the strategy for assigned IDNs to influence appropriate stakeholders and achieve incremental ITCI access.
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize opportunities in the assigned geography, including in Institutional systems and integrated delivery network (IDNs) and large group practice organizations; Academic, Comprehensive and large Community Hospitals, Department of Corrections facilities, and government payers.
- The Strategic Account Manager is responsible for effectively and compliantly engaging C-suite executives, account business leaders, pharmacy and administrative personnel, and other decision makers within major accounts to discuss approved ITCI product indications and to help influence additional HCP access in these accounts.
- Collaborate and align efforts with internal ITCI stakeholders to engage with key institutions/HCPs, including partnership with field sales.
- The Strategic Account Manager will respect all account rules for access and follow all direction for access provided by the account, including limitations imposed by government accounts.
- Work with Marketing and Market Access teams as needed within established compliance guidelines.
- Identify key account decision-makers, account decision-making processes, and approaches to effectively engage assigned accounts.
- Perform other tasks as requested by ITI senior management, complete all company and job-related training as assigned within the required timelines.

Job Requirements
- BS or BA required; MBA preferred
- Must have a combination of 8+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry with 2+ years of experience in IDN/Account Based Practices/VA/Hospital settings.
- Must have 2+ years of experience in GPO/Account Based Practices/IDNs/VA/DoD/Teaching Institutions focused on pull through.
- Must have 2+ years of experience launching new in-patient products in a hospital/account environment.
- Must have 2+ years of experience in pull through in systems centered around Criteria For Use/P&T Reviews/Protocols.
- Must have 2+ years of experience working with Medical Information Scientists/Liaisons and in patient pharmacy directors.
- 2+ years of experience and knowledge in the psychiatry therapeutic and/or VAs is high preferred.
- Must have a high level of healthcare market knowledge and understand the interconnections between accounts.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to develop relationships with key stakeholders, good conflict management and negotiation skills, ability to analyze complex issues to develop relevant and recommendations.
- Develop and maintain superior clinical expertise with ITCI brands and disease state/conditions to effectively educate and engage customer stakeholders in a dialogue about clinical evidence, approved indications, and product efficacy/safety to support on-label prescribing for appropriate patients.
- Proven leadership ability with customers and internal matrix teams.
- Understanding of healthcare marketplace and trends.
- Experience and knowledge in psychiatry therapeutic area preferred.
- Proven problem solver with solid analytical ability and strategic thinking skills.
- Proven prioritization skills with ability to adapt to change is a must.
- Focus on integrity; strong commitment to ITCI policies including Code of Conduct, and all applicable laws and regulations is an absolute must.
- Must be willing to travel up to 30% or as required by the company.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Must be able to perform all essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Salary commensurate with experience: $128,000-$192,000
