Position Overview:
The Production Technician 1&2 will work in the Indianapolis Parenteral Manufacturing site where Parenteral products for domestic and international markets are manufactured and packaged. The primary purpose of the job is to manufacture, fill sterile products into vials, and package product.
Responsibilities:
Adhere to Parenteral Plant safety policies and procedures, contribute to a safe work environment
Setup and operations in both aseptic and non-aseptic processes
Adhere to standard operating procedures and current Good Manufacturing Practices to ensure quality of product
Document process steps on appropriate batch documentation
Adherence to standard operating procedures, current Good Manufacturing Practices, safety policies/procedures
Basic Requirements:
Experience working in an aseptic environment is desired
Must pass a “fitness for Duty” physical exam
Ability to demonstrate attention to detail
Basic math skills
Basic computer skills, with capability to learn in more detail
Excellent documentation skills
Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment, working safely and accountable for supporting all HSE Corporate and Site Goals.
Additional Preferences:
Experience with GMPs
Experience working in an aseptic environment is desired
Education Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent
Additional Information:
This is a night shift position. The current shift structure is 4 x 10 but will move to 12 hr shifts in early 2025
Some overtime work maybe required
