About the Department
You will be joining Fill & Finish Expansions (FFEx), which is responsible for all major expansion activities within aseptic production, solid dosage forms, finished products, fill & finish warehousing, and QC across all production areas in Product Supply. The area is anchored in Product Supply, Quality & IT, which globally employ approx. 20,000 of Novo Nordisk’s 50,000 employees.
FFEx is a newly established and growing area with the responsibility to design, plan, and build all new aseptic filling capacity across Novo Nordisk to serve the needs of millions of patients. We do it by rethinking our production facilities with the use of modern technology, as we are setting the standards for the aseptic production of the future. The Position
Design, deliver, evaluate & support training within the Operational Training Standard framework. Create & design training programs in line with the site Training plan that supports daily operations, as well as project ramp up & Operational Readiness. Communicate data & metrics that inform & support the progress of directors, managers & teams.

Project Director/Manager.
Essential Functions
- Serve as the training expert in assigned area, to include partnering with managers to identify training needs and collaborate and execute on the training strategy
- Work across different areas of the business to align on training approach & to share resources & best practices
- Set priorities based ontraining needs and execute actions to ensure training program milestones are met, to include. Reviews training & development records, identifying training needs & gaps
- Implement training schedules for all employees, to include establishing review dates & further training in line with the employee’s role
- Partner with managers to review learning & development interventions for technical competencies, leadership development & personal development
- Identify sources & arranges internal & external training to address competency gaps
- Conduct &/or coordinate training for partnered area
- Assist as a subject matter expert (SME) in application of established technical training processes
- Lead or participate in training development workshops locally or globally
- Present technical training using a variety of instructional techniques tools & programs aligned with internal & external best practices, while seeking continuous improvement
- Establish & drive usage of training tracking & escalation processes
- Monitor & evaluate the effectiveness of training & development delivered
- Follows all safety & environmental requirements in the performance of duties
- Other accountabilities, as assigned
Physical Requirements
Ability to work in an open office environment with the possibility of frequent distraction. Ability to travel up to 10% of the time (% can change on a case-by-case basis based on the role).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field of study from an accredited university required
- May consider an Associate’s degree from an accredited university with a minimum of seven (7) years of instruction and training development required
- May consider a High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum nine (9) years of instruction and training development required
- Master’s degree from an accredited university preferred
- A minimum of five (5) years of instruction and training development experience required
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience in a regulated industry required, preferably in aGMP regulated manufacturing environment
- Minimum of five (5) years of instruction, training development or equivalent experience required
- Knowledge of principles & methods for curriculum & training design, teaching & instruction for individuals & groups & the measurement of training effects required
- Ability to read, write & understand complicated product, equipment & OEM documentation & standard operating procedures with great attention to detail required
- Experience with Microsoft Word & Excel required
- Experience with ISOtrain or other Learning Management Systems a plus
- Ability to organize, coordinate & track multiple tasks & events & to work in an orderly & methodical manner a plus
- Ability to design, format & generate intelligible, accurate & timely reports preferred
