The Manufacturing and Quality IT Team at Lilly is looking for a Business Process Architect (BPA) with experience in Global Supply Chain production planning with implementing, supporting, and maintaining Kinaxis RapidResponse/Maestro. What You’ll Be Doing:

The primary focus of the Business Process Architect MQ Tech at Lilly is to provide integration between business resources and IDS, influencing the processes, tools and operating models. The role will support the implementation and maintenance of applications/solutions and will support customers by implementing value-driven solutions. As BPA, you will partner with business SMEs, our end-to-end supply chain orchestration software vendor, and Lilly’s service integrator on the design, configuration, and implementation of the NextGen production planning solution. You will leverage technical and business process knowledge to influence strategy and design decisions that advance program goals of harmonized, simplified processes and integration for advanced analytics and AI capabilities.

The role will be essential to the successful implementation and future maintenance of the Kinaxis Maestro solution and integration between Maestro and SAP S/4 Hanna IBP.

How You’ll Succeed:
  • Collaborate with management and business leaders to align the business roadmap with operational decisions. 
  • Collaborate with product owners and project managers to maintain a robust architectural framework across product lifecycles.
  • Collaborate with business area leadership, IT Architects, and Enterprise IT architecture on cross-organizational issues.
  • Assess organizational and financial impacts of proposed business process architecture solutions.
  • Provide expert analysis, research, and design of technical solutions to enhance business capabilities.
  • Research and strategize the implementation of new or alternative technologies to advance business goals and competitive positioning.
  • Maintain awareness of current technology trends and applications within Supply Chain for the Pharma industry.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into architectural blueprints to achieve business objectives, ensuring clarity and actionability.
  • Provide business process consultation to application teams, ensuring alignment with the enterprise and solution architectures.
  • Gather business requirements, analyze and transform to application requirements, perform fit-gap analysis.
  • Promote process improvement and innovation to drive business process optimization.
  • Adhere to corporate computer systems validation policies and procedures.

What You Should Bring:
  • Must have experience with Kinaxis Advanced Planning tools.
  • Experience implementing and maintaining Kinaxis Rapid Response/Maestro.
  • Experience introducing innovation and/or digital capabilities to global supply chain.
  • Must have PHARMA industry and Global Supply Chain experience.
  • Strong understanding of broad business process in the production and demand planning space. 
  • Basic understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) with demonstrated experience in computer system validations efforts.
  • Excellent initiative and self-management skills as well as ability to lead teams, influence others and manage conflict. 
  • Demonstrated ability to establish key relationships with those outside of the immediate business area. 
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and influence integration points with other business areas, processes, functions. 
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex technical issues. 
  • Adaptability and flexibility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. 
Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related technical field.
OR
• High School Diploma/GED with 8-10 years of experience in Information Technology and/or Global Supply Chain ERP roles, with at least 4 years working with Kinaxis and ERP production planning solutions
