Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the isolation, differentiation, and culture of sensitive primary human and mouse immune and cancer cells, MLR (mixed lymphocyte reaction) or variants thereof, mouse and human T cell activation, suppression and proliferation assays, assays, CRISPR knockout in primary mouse and human immune cells, cytokine analysis via immunoblotting, MSD, and Luminex, signaling reporter assay, etc.
• Perform protein and cell-based assays to support multiple early therapeutic programs.
• Responsible for ideating and developing new experimental assays and taking the leading role in adopting and implementing new technologies to address current and future program needs.
• Employ technical expertise in immunology and oncology research to perform and develop in vitro/ ex-vivo assays.
• Responsible for the design and implementation of high parameter mouse and human tumor immune flow cytometry panels (25+ antibodies).
• Utilize experience analyzing and interpreting data high parameter, and flow cytometry data. \
• Responsible for designing and executing studies within short timelines to help
• achieve milestone decisions, understanding project goals and modifying experimental plans to respond.
• Develop and deliver scientific reports (e.g. oral presentations, poster presentations, written reports, etc.) and prepare concise summaries of the data to present to the project team.
• Partner with colleagues outside the IO organization to develop cutting edge technologies that will lead to the discovery of novel therapeutic targets and therapies.
• Evaluate emerging scientific literature and participate in scientific meetings.
• Stay current with and adopt new technologies.

Must possess a Bachelors degree or foreign academic equivalent in Biology, Pharmacology and Toxicology, or a highly related field of study plus 5 years of related experience.

Alternatively, the employer will accept a Masters degree or foreign academic equivalent in Biology, Pharmacology and Toxicology, or a highly related field of study plus 1 year of related experience.

Each alternative with at least 1 year of experience in the following:

1. isolating, differentiating, and culturing sensitive primary human and mouse immune and cancer cells, MLR (mixed lymphocyte reaction) or variants thereof, mouse and human T cell activation, suppression and proliferation assays, assays, CRISPR knockout in primary mouse and human immune cells, cytokine analysis via immunoblotting, MSD, and Luminex, signaling reporter assay, etc.;
2. performing protein and cell-based assays to support multiple early therapeutic programs;
3. analyzing and interpreting data high parameter, and flow cytometry data; &
4. developing and delivering scientific reports (e.g. oral presentations, poster presentations, written reports, etc.) and preparing concise summaries of the data to present to the project team.

Salary Range: $138,496.94 - $153,000.00 per year.
