What you will do

Lets do this. Lets change the world. Collaborate with cross-functional leaders in the Rare Disease Therapeutic Area to contribute to the development of medical content and publications aligned with the Uplizna program objectives.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Publication-related deliverables (manuscripts/abstracts/posters/enhanced content)

  • Delivery of innovative scientific and medical content (DSE/digital/MSL materials/FAQs/Medical Information Letters) tailored to specific audiences in the US and globally via impactful formats and relevant channels

  • Payer-related content

  • Addressing Medical Information inquiries

  • Maintaining strong partnerships with Medical Strategy & Operations in support of standardization of processes, optimizing systems, and furthering continuous improvement and innovation, including use of digital and multi-channel approaches, as well as definition of impactful of KPIs.

  • Drive the development of a holistic scientific communication plan that shifts based on changes in the disease area and treatment landscape and in-depth awareness of insights across local affiliates and cross-functional partners

  • Managing vendors for content development and managing project-associated budgets

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree

OR

Masters degree and 2 years of Medical/Scientific Affairs experience

OR

Bachelors degree and 4 years of Medical/Scientific Affairs experience

OR

Associates degree and 8 years of Medical/Scientific Affairs experience

OR

High school diploma / GED and 10 years of Medical/Scientific Affairs experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

PharmD, PhD, MD, or DO with 1 or more years of relevant experience in clinical research, patient care, Medical/Scientific Affairs, and/or basic research (other doctorate degrees may be considered)

Prior experience in Medical Affairs or Clinical Development within the biopharmaceutical industry, and/or clinical or research experience

Understanding of current publication environment, good publication practices, and other global guidelines related to publications, scientific data communication, and transparency standards

Understanding of the pharmaceutical commercialization process and knowledge of the regulatory and legal guidelines affecting promotion of prescription products Demonstrated track record of strategic execution in a matrix environment with limited supervision

gMG, NMO, and/or IgG4-RD disease/therapeutic area knowledge, or Rheumatology or Neuroimmunology therapeutic area knowledge

Experience managing vendors

Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, time management, and project planning skills

Ability to lead and/or facilitate effective team meetings

Strong computer and database skills, particularly with Microsoft Office products

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
