The Position

The purpose of the Peer to Peer Tech & Innovation Associate is to assist in the management and optimization of the Peer-to-Peer HCP engagement ecosystem by supporting budget management, compliance, system development, operational enhancements, strategic improvements, and performance benchmarking. This role involves collaborating with IT teams and external partners to enhance system performance, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements, and identifying opportunities to improve the accuracy and timeliness of HCP engagement records. The associate will support efforts to adapt and optimize systems, implement new technologies, and drive continuous improvement in user experience and operational efficiency. Additionally, the role includes assisting in the evaluation of pilot programs and helping establish benchmarks for system performance to maintain high standards and align with business objectives.

 

Relationships

The Peer to Peer Tech & Innovation Associate will report directly into the Peer to Peer Tech & Innovation Strategist as part of the broader Integrated Customer Engagement function. This role will regularly collaborate with various parts of the enterprise, including IT, Therapeutic Areas/Brands, Finance, Experience Intelligence, CMR and Commercial Excellence and Innovation. This role will often have to interface with external technology and platform vendors.

 

Essential Functions

  • Budget Management: Assist in managing budgets related to HCP engagement technologies, including service fees, licensing costs, and outsourced FTE. Support budget coordination and tracking, review and audit all final bills, and assist in the preparation of reports
  • HCP Compliance Management: Support the management and enhancement of integrated SaaS and internal systems to ensure compliance with both internal and external reporting requirements. Assist in identifying opportunities to improve the accuracy and timeliness of HCP engagement records, collaborating with Compliance for impact assessments on new reporting requirements
  • HCP Engagement Systems Development: Assist in developing and maintaining a multi-year technology roadmap for the HCP engagement ecosystem, focusing on improving the performance and compliance of existing platforms. Support the integration of new technological capabilities to meet future business needs, collaborating closely with IT teams and external partners to enhance system performance and data quality
  • Operational Enhancements & Technology Integration: Support  efforts to adapt and optimize systems to improve data entry and reduce corrective actions, implementing next-gen technologies such as Virtual Speaker Program platforms. Assist in implementing next-gen technologies such as Virtual Speaker Program platforms and help manage departmental IT budgets
  • Strategic Systems Improvements: Assist in enhancing user experience and operational efficiency within HCP engagement systems by identifying system gaps and driving technological changes to enhance compliance and operational effectiveness. Help establish, monitor, and analyze metrics and KPIs to recommend improvements in processes, and systems
  • Innovation & Pilot Programs: Assist in identifying and proposing pilot programs to test new technologies and methodologies that could enhance HCP engagement.  Support the evaluation of pilot results and make recommendations for broader implementation based on effectiveness and scalability
  • Performance Benchmarking: Support the establishment of benchmarks for system performance and use satisfaction. Regularly review performance data to identify areas of improvement and implement changes to achieve and maintain high standards.

    Physical Requirements

    Hybrid policy: 3 days in office, 2 days remote.

    Approximately 20-30% overnight travel.

     

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Marketing, Healthcare Management or related field. Advanced degree is preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in project management, technology management, healthcare, or related field
  • Experience in executing technology driven projects, preferably within the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry
  • Basic understanding of digital transformation and workflow optimization processes
  • Experience withing the pharmaceutical or life science industry preferred
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with marketing tools and software
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams across the organization and outside agencies
  • Strong planning and organizational skills with high attention to detail and proven track record of results and follow up
