Intra-Cellular Therapies is expanding our marketing team to support CAPLYTA, and we seek a Product Manager to join our team for a hybrid role. This position will report directly to the Associate Director, Marketing and will be responsible for execution of the brand strategy and marketing plan for CAPLYTA. 

 

Core Responsibilities 

  • Assist with the development of healthcare professional, consumer, and patient marketing, promotional, educational, and/or public relations campaigns
  • Assist with the development and execution of peer-to-peer initiatives, speaker bureau management, Advisory Boards and other promotional medical education
  • Help monitor marketplace and competitor trends via their digital footprint/approach, professional publications/databases, conferences, etc. and anticipate marketplace and competitive issues.   
  • Support and/or guide agencies, vendors and partners to execute tactical plans, ensure timelines are met, and budgets are managed
  • Think innovatively regarding the application of new technologies and solutions and inform decisions
  • Work with partners to report on KPIs and identify optimization needs 
  • Ensure legal/regulatory compliance and medical accuracy of all digital and consumer marketing materials
  • Coordinate with the Market Research & Commercial Analytics Teams to identify research, insight and measurement needs to inform spend, scale, or campaign optimizations 
  • Communicate, train and present to sales force to ensure awareness of messages and initiatives as needed
  • May track and/or help prepare annual budget/forecast for marketing 
  • Other project work as assigned

Expanded Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with key cross-functional teams including, but not limited to, Sales Team, Corporate Communications, Commercial Development, Market Access, and Patient Support
  • Partner with Marketing Analytics team to identify & implement advanced measurement studies that will demonstrate the business impact being driven by marketing investments as needed
  • Evaluate new & innovative marketing opportunities and provide perspective for adoption (where appropriate) 

Job Requirements

  • BA/BS degree; Masters or MBA desired
  • Two + years experience in a Product Manager role for a pharmaceutical or biotechnology company with HCP or consumer experience 
  • CNS experience is desired, but not required
  • Launch experience with newly marketed products or new indications preferred
  • Track record of developing and implementing strategies/tactics that have delivered strong commercial results across both traditional & digital marketing channels
  • Outstanding project management skills and experience managing multiple vendors, marketing partners and agency partners with understanding of digital implementation (e.g., programming/development, QA testing, etc.)
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities
  • Experience managing promotional budgets
  • Deep understanding of the legal and regulatory environment in pharmaceutical promotions, pharma industry guidelines, and other compliance-related issues
  • Excellent listening, presentation, writing, editing and communication skills with ability to present to senior management when needed
  • The ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required – up to 25%

Product Manager Base Salary range $90,000-$120,000
