Job Details
The Senior Lab Coordinator position is part of the Workplace Strategy & Planning team and partners with internal resources, consultants, contractors, and the Regeneron Community to support the coordination of Workplace Strategy & Planning projects and day-to-day activities related to labs. The Senior Lab Coordinator will assist in the project scheduling and resource planning, procurement, and installation of lab furniture, fixtures, equipment, and all MAC activities. Provides excellent customer service for furniture, fixtures & equipment, and Moves, Adds & Changes (MAC) activities to end-users.
A typical day might include:
- Build relationships and partner with lab planners and lab champions or requestors to gather requirements and plan/coordinate laboratory activities.
- Acting as the primary liaison to lab planners and end users to ensure requests are efficiently allocated and installation schedules are communicated and aligned with critical needs. Report and solve any scheduling and implementation conflicts promptly and professionally.
- Managing internal resources and contracted services with effective communication to ensure MAC activities and projects are completed in a cohesive and timely manner with minimal business disruption.
- Work with vendors to generate proposals for lab project FF&E and/or labor.
- Partner with the project management and lab planning team for order placement. Schedule delivery and installation in conjunction with other project activities schedules.
- Oversee the daily operations of the laboratory reconfigurations, accessory installations, and other lab requests.
- Execute and install lab efficiency plans directed by lab planners or other senior members in the ordering and installing of furniture, lab accessories, ergonomic accessories, or lab equipment.
- Develop creative project sequence solutions and present them to clients, lab planners, and other stakeholders to obtain approvals and alignment.
- Maintain and track budget, schedule, and project documentation and take corrective actions when required to meet project goals.
- Manages & coordinates TRIRIGA IWMS lab request workstreams update request status, vendor assignment, and related comments
- Preparing weekly lab request activity schedule and coordinates with move managers to verify the space readiness for installation
- Coordinating with Asset Management on equipment moves and equipment disposal process.
- Providing leadership updates and execution plans for day-to-day and project activities to ensure communication of year-over-year laboratory requests and inventory management metrics

- You posses strong project management and implementation skills needed to ensure proper communication, coordination, and collaboration with all key departments such as Environment Health & Safety, Facilities Operations and Asset Management, Engineering Design & Construction team, and vendors.
- You have knowledge of lab planning and project management processes.
- You have knowledge of lab furniture systems and solutions.
- You have developed effective organizational, time management, interpersonal, and communication skills are required.
- You believe in excellent customer service skills and the goal to thrive in an agile environment.
- You are already able to read and understand floor plans and have intermediate to expert knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel.
To be considered for this role you must have a Bachelor's degree with 2-4 minimum years of experience. IWMS, CAFM, and FMS experience is a must. Willingness to learn. Flexibility. Attention to detail, action-oriented, embraces collaboration and resourcefulness. Experience in the biopharmaceutical industry preferred.
