Summary
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Electrician Technician to manage and maintain our electrical systems within a pharmaceutical environment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience and a comprehensive understanding of the specific electrical needs and regulations in the pharmaceutical industry.
Description
- Ensure electrical systems are operating efficiently and in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Monitor and control electrical conditions within the facility to meet strict pharmaceutical standards.
- Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems to ensure safety and reliability.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical issues promptly and efficiently.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment, including wiring, circuit breakers, lighting, and control systems.
- Collaborate with other maintenance and engineering teams to ensure seamless operation of all facility systems.
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities.
- Responsible for daily maintenance checks. equipment start-up, monitoring, and efficient operation.
- Performs periodic inspections, tests, and preventive maintenance schedule and report findings. document all completed tasks via internal tracking system.
- Report all process problems to manager and recommend corrective actions.
- Check the job site for safe system operations and report to the company's management in writing any unsafe conditions or operations and the circumstances of any accidents.
- Strive to achieve the highest levels of maintenance performance to benefit the Customer's long-term satisfaction.
- Diagnose causes of electrical systems problems and identify solutions.
- Maintain and operate a computerized maintenance program.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to plan and execute electrical projects.
Requirements
- Is authorized to work in the US;
- High School Diploma or equivalent;
- Massachusetts Driver's License;
- Journeyman Electrician's License;
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in a similar position with mechanical or electrical experience;
- Computer literacy and MS Office computer skills;
- Ability to respond to emergencies on a 24-hour basis;
- Ability to bend, stoop, climb and crawl;
- Ability to work from ladders, lifts, scaffolding and in tight places;
- Ability to pass all background checks and obtain a security clearance at the required level as per client requirements;
- Knowledge of Building Management Systems;
- Technical Education or a trade is a plus.
