In this vital role you will develop and mature new digital product capabilities as part of the highly visible Gross-to-Net Initiative.
  • Be an interdisciplinary team member who is innovative, accountable, reliable, and able to thrive in a constantly evolving environment
  • Build and maintain product requirements for life cycle management as well as create and maintain prioritized user stories backlog in partnership with product owner and business teams
  • Drive business requirements, functional design, prototyping, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), testing, training, defining support procedures and supporting implementations
  • Bring product capabilities to life by translating concepts and ideas to software features
  • Continuously advance team and stakeholder adoption of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
  • Work closely in a client-facing role with a cross-functional team of DTI platform and product stakeholders.
  • Influence the customer product experience by translating data into insights and business value
  • Assist in maintaining existing models, providing architectural guidance, and driving Anaplan best practices for initiatives
  • Support any necessary Anaplan model updates to accommodate new data and systems, including validating inbound and outbound data for accuracy and making updates as needed
  • Work closely with the Product team in the design and development of high performant data ingestion pipelines from multiple sources using Databricks
  • Work with Data Engineers in automating and building integrations for seamless data flow to Anaplan, Tableau, and other reporting platforms
  • Lead the team on the architecture, design, development, testing, implementation, and DevOps of Coverage & Pricings Deal Modeling, Forecasting and Analytics Products on GCOs AWS Data Lake and Anaplan platforms
  • Handle end-to-end requirements for development work, and management of backlog including tracking dependencies, risks, and decisions
  • Coordinate of product team's work when there are dependencies on other Amgen teams or external business partners
  • Follow Amgens governance processes, procedures, specifications, design controls, and applicable compliance standards and guidance documents
  • Work across teams to support the technology stack of GCO DTI Coverage, Contracting and Pricing products on standard City Plan platforms (Anaplan, AWS Redshift, Alteryx, Tableau, Model N, SAP, Salesforce, GDNA)

Basic Qualifications:Doctorate degreeORMasters degree and 2 years of systems analysis experienceOrBachelors degree and 4 years of systems analysis experienceOrAssociates degree and 8 years of systems analysis experienceOrHigh school diploma / GED and 10 years of systems analysis experiencePreferred Qualifications:
  • Expertise in the broad set of data-related technologies, including Data Storage (AWS S3), Cloud Compute (AWS EC2), Highly Performant Data Warehouses (AWS Redshift), Data Engineering and Analytics (Databricks, Spark), Orchestration (Airflow, Jenkins), and Reporting / Data Visualization Tools (Tableau).
  • Experience building and maintaining with Anaplan, Databricks, ETL Tools, and working with programming languages (Python, R, SQL)
  • Ability to quickly assimilate knowledge and learn platforms, languages, tools, and technologies
  • Working experience in Agile (Scrum, SAFe) teams with a demonstrable understanding of software development framework and methodologies
  • Certification in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills with prior experience working with large sets of data to derive insights. Understanding of data and integration (inbound and outbound)
  • Validated knowledge of a formal system implementation methodology requirements gathering, design, build, test and deploy.
  • Strong prioritization skills and ability to quickly adjust in a dynamic environment, manage multiple releases at the same level of detail
  • Experience working in Agile Product teams & DevOps frameworks (Jenkins, JIRA, GitHub) and implementing CI/CD processes
  • Possess excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with peers, internal partners, external partners, and executive management
  • Prior experience with drafting test plans, test protocols, test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios as well as owning Requirements Trace Matrix (RTM)
  • Expert in Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, PowerPoint, Excel, Jira, Confluence, Change Management tool (ServiceNow), Test tool (Zephyr, ALM)
  • Passion for innovation and data, and a "can-do" attitude
  • PMP or project management experience highly preferred.
