Could you be our next Director, Scientific Computing Phamacometric Platform? This position is located in our King of Prussia PA or Waltham, MA office. It is a Hybrid role. You will report to the Executive Director Clinical Pharmacology

Responsibilities:

  • Develop partnerships and serve as the primary contact for all scientific computing platforms related business capabilities and platform level technology needs such as statistical computing environment (SCE) and PK/PD Modeling & Simulation (HPC). You will create the evolution of the technical roadmap as we continue to expand its capabilities and scope.
  • Provide technical leadership and strategic direction for the scientific applications running in the HPC space, on-boarding additional applications and setting strategy for HPC in R&D technologies, standards, processes and architecture for data across relevant teams.
  • You will use technical and analytical expertise to explore and examine data from multiple differentsources with the goal of discovering patterns and previously hidden insights that can guide solutions to address a pressing mission problem.
  • Oversee vendor partnerships, together with other leaders in Technology and partners in the departments, to ensure that the technology goals are aligned with our vision.
  • Background in technology, data, and change management, with experience in leading technology development teams and working in a pharmaceutical R&D environment.
  • Oversee the technical selection, implementation, and delivery of main systems within the Pharmacology & Stats () technology framework, in partnership with CTAS and R&D Technology teams.
  • Lead the technical implementation of regulated technologies for the data sciences organization to promote seamless delivery on the clinical pipeline.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 15 years of related experience within Biotech/Pharmaceutical industry is required.
  • 15 years of working experience managing data and technology programs in major pharmaceutical companies including external vendor partnerships.
  • 10+ years leading IT projects in Pharmacokinetics/pharmacometrics, modeling and simulation, statistics/statistical programming and data management
