The successful candidate will be self-motivated and creative, with a desire to succeed at the highest level in a highly collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support in vivo studies with molecular analysis of tissues for DNA, RNA, and protein readouts.
  • Evaluate target and technology feasibility and efficacy in cell lines and primary cells, including assay development and optimization.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of activities through meticulous lab notebook practices and contributions to reports.
  • Analyze, interpret, and present data, with the ability to clearly communicate results in written and oral formats; may need to incorporate data from other members in the Research team to interpret data.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and external groups to coordinate and drive complex studies.

Job Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in cellular/molecular biology, virology, neuroscience, or related field with 1+ years of relevant biotech or pharmaceutical industry experience.

Additional Skills/Preferences:
  • Experience with RNA (qPCR and ddPCR) and protein analyses (western blot, JESS and/or ELISA).
  • Demonstrated ability to function as a member of an interdisciplinary team and contribute within a highly collaborative environment
  • Exceptionally creative, organized, and detail-oriented
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to thoroughly document, interpret, and effectively present scientific data to other scientists and non-scientists
