We are currently seeking a R&D Change & Enablement Intern for Summer of 2024.

This full-time position is approximately 37.5 hours per week. The R&D Change & Enablement intern will support the Work Life Balance Survey of employees in Global R&D, and the daily operations of Change & Enablement team practices.

Responsibilities: 

  • Work Life Balance Survey: Participate in building an overall plan for the survey through understanding background information, preparing questions in SurveyMonkey and emailing survey requests and reminders. Including compiling survey results in PowerPoint and sharing ideas on ways to improve Work Life Balance in Global R&D.
  • Change & Enablement Practices – Assist the change lead with operationalizing the Change Practitioners Community within R&D. This will involve researching best practices, implementation of automation and collaboration tools to enable sharing and holistic oversight of a large portfolio of change initiatives. Provide support to establish a routine agenda, resource library of Change Management templates and set up of a blog for ad hoc communications.

Interns will gain experience in globalization of practices and rewards in a pharmaceutical organization.

Qualifications: Successful candidates will be able to meet the qualifications below with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Education/Experience:

  • Qualified candidates must currently be enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program with a concentration in Organizational Design, Change Management, Innovation or a related field.
  • Prior experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel) is preferred; interest in the pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
  • Candidate must demonstrate logical-thinking, statistic and analytical skills, and ability to collaborate and influence others.
