Eli Lilly and Company seeks an Engineer (R4-R5) to support the asset delivery, process development, commissioning, qualification, validation, and startup of the associated process and equipment in the Parenteral manufacturing area. Provide technical support for aseptic filling, visual inspection of drug product, aseptic practice, and decontamination validation. Oversee the development and execution of strategies for the validation of production equipment and systems including filler, isolator environment, and inspection equipment. Provide technical support for root cause investigations related to process equipment. Analyze manufacturing data using statistical principles to identify trends, process disruptions, and opportunities for continuous improvements. #LI-DNI
Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering field followed by 5 years of progressively responsible experience with process engineering and process automation. Experience must include a minimum of: 5 years of experience with Parenteral systems including inspection and fill or finish systems; 5 years of experience with equipment qualification and process validation; 5 years of experience with optimization of processes and implementing and troubleshooting production processes and equipment; 5 years of experience supporting installation, operational, and performance qualification activities; 5 years of experience with deviation and change management systems including Trackwise; and 5 years of experience with parenteral facility or area startup as a process engineer leading activities including asset delivery strategy development, cycle and recipe development, and operational readiness. Part time telecommuting may be permitted. Up to 15% domestic and international travel required. #LI-DNI
