The Position
IT Architecture at NNI is responsible for supporting solution & project implementation, by maintaining an enterprise-wide view and a deep understanding of technology and business needs. The IT Architect will ensure that new technology solutions effectively establish new business capabilities and that current solutions are fully optimized.
Responsibilities for this position include: Evaluating new technical solutions for appropriate business, technology, and architectural fit within Novo Nordisk. Evaluating new technologies in support of Novo Nordisks business. Understand the relationships between business processes within Novo Nordisk, and how technology is and can be leveraged for greater effectiveness. Support the standardization of platforms and interfaces across systems, including user identity, APIs, and automation.
Relationships
As the Solution Architect reporting to the Lead of the Digital Solutions Team, your role involves dynamic collaboration with clients through brainstorming sessions, leading to the creation of mockups and prototypes. You will be responsible for designing user interface wireframes, future state process flows, as well as future state system and platform interfaces. This creative process will enable the visualization and implementation of innovative solutions that align with client needs and business objectives.
Essential Functions
- Solution Design and Development:
- Lead the design and development of solutions using Power Platform and automation initiatives, ensuring alignment with business requirements and technological capabilities
- Create and maintain Azure Dev Ops user stories, solution design documentation, including architecture diagrams, data models, and system specifications
- Business Interaction:
- Engage in frequent interaction with business stakeholders to understand requirements, prioritize initiatives, and refine solution designs to align with strategic business objectives
- Conduct workshops and brainstorming sessions to gather and analyze business needs, translating them into technical specifications and solution designs
Physical Requirements
0-10% overnight travel required.
Qualifications
- Education Level: Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, computer science, or related field preferred. Solid relevant experience may be substituted when appropriate
- Experience Level: A minimum of 3+ years of relevant architecture or Power Platform Solutions or other related experience required
