The Position
Primary purpose is to be a System Engineer for PSnet with responsibility for maintaining and operate IT infrastructure and providing a shared global IT infrastructure for Product Supply (PS) in Novo Nordisk, based on PSnet. Responsible for ensuring operational excellence. Responsible for ensuring a standardized platform world-wide in PS to establish strong relationship with users, owners, customers, and suppliers.

Physical Requirements
Ability to work in an open office environment with the possibility of frequent distraction. Ability to travel up to 10% of the time. (% can change on a case-by-case basis based on the role.)
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent with high level technical certifications (Network Certifications such as Cisco, SolarWinds, Wireshark, CompTIA, Cybersecurity, AWS, cloud, etc.) required
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant field of study from an accredited university preferred
- Certification in an IT System Administration/Engineer discipline (e.g. Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), etc.) required
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience with assigned infrastructure services, automation, and technologies from large corporations required
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience covering specification, design, implementation, maintenance, and automation of solutions in large organizations required
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience working within a manufacturing environment required, pharmaceutical manufacturing environment preferred
- Minimum of five (5) years with Server Operations including in depth knowledge of System Monitoring Tools, Virtualization Platforms & deployment of servers, System Patch Deployment Technologies, Communication Flows & Firewalls, IT Security Controls such as Application Whitelisting/Anti-virus, & Experience with system monitoring & analysis tools required
- Minimum of three (3) years with Domain Service Administration including in depth knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Identity Management, DNS, DHCP, LDAP, Group Policy Management, User Management, required
- Minimum of three (3) years with File Services Operations including File Shares, GxP Data management, Automated File Transfer Services, required
- Understanding of security aspects of supported IT infrastructure services and technologies required
- Understanding of generic infrastructure related technologies preferred
- IT Services and IT process knowledge required
- Communicate standards in an easy understandable form on all levels of the organization – globally required
- Ability to demonstrate a global mindset required
- Strong general business understanding a plus
- Stakeholder Management preferred:
- Build strong relations to Line of Business on NN sites, primary in the supported region
- Collaborate with Line of Business System Managers within supported region
- Collaborate across products/technologies inside the Americas HUB
- Collaborate across products/technologies with GITO-PI DK and GBS
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager, GITO-PI Senior Architects, and Global Firewall Engineers on technical solutions within supported region
- Collaborate with GITO-PI Quality Compliance Analysts and GITO-PI Service Managers to ensure infrastructure is maintained in a qualified state
- Agile skills a plus:
- Support the Agile way and support the processes e.g., DSU, DEMO, PI Planning
- Knowledge on Agile principles and methodology
- Knowledge on Agile tools e.g., Kanban
- Understanding of the Agile mindset and culture
