Job Description

Reporting to the Virology Brand Team Lead, the Associate Director will take responsibility for developing the brand strategy & implementing tactical activities to meet overarching HCV brand goals. The Associate Director will lead the cross-functional coordination of goals, detailed planning of project milestones, and coordination of stakeholders to attain the desired outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop brand strategy.
  • Continuously analyze market dynamics and performance to make recommendations for solidifying and growing franchise market position.
  • Deliver tactical plan.
  • Ensure foundational tactics (e.g. key message platform, core materials) developed and approved for country adoption.
  • Lead the brand council for co-creation activities with affiliates.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely.
  • Ensure strategy & tactics buy-in by affiliates.
  • Build strong & trustful relationships with external customers.
  • Ensure competitive intelligence & gather insights from internal & external customers.
  • Management of annual franchise budget.
  • Make trade-off & prioritize.
  • Uphold HCVimage internally.

Qualifications
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize, excellent time & organization management skills, attention to details.
  • Has positive attitude and build strong relationships with peers and cross functionally to enable higher performance.
  • Influences others, including those over whom they have no direct authority.
  • Demonstrates leadership & build close relations with the affiliates to ensure buy-in & roll-out of the strategy/tactics.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Open to feedback.
  • Acts consistently with our ethics, obligations, and the law.
  • Familiarity with AbbVie processes is a plus.
  • Pharmaceutical brand experience in an affiliate is a plus.
