Scientist - Synthetics Separations

Lets do this. Lets change the world. In this vital role you willhelp discover the medicines of tomorrow through the development and use of chromatographic methods for the analysis and purification of small and hybrid (peptides, siRNA, oligonucleotides, mRNA) molecules.
Utilizing a diverse set of Analytical tools and technologies, such as (but not limited to) RPLC, SFC, chromatography modeling, advanced analytical and preparative-scale purification. The successful candidate is also expected to assist in research efforts directed at improving process efficiencies, expanding the range of assays and applications, building state-of-the-art analytical capabilities, and improving technologies and infrastructure. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a talented group of scientists using state-of-the-art equipment in a newly redesigned laboratory
Chromatographic method development and in silico modeling
Chiral and achiral purifications across a wide range of scales (g 100 g)
Process improvement to create more efficient operation
What we expect of you

Basic Qualifications:PhD with 0+ years,
OR
Masters degree with 2 years relevant experience
OR
Bachelors degree with 4 years of relevant experience
A Bachelors or Masterss degree in organic chemistry, or analytical chemistry. 6+ years of relevant experience with chromatographic analysis and/or purification of small molecules in a pharmaceutical R&D environment.
Exposure to SFC, LC/MS, mass directed purification, analytical/preparative SFC, knowledge of other analytical techniques (NMR, MS)
Chromatography hands-on experience
Creative problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Authored scientific publications.
Interest in building new analytical capabilities to enable analysis and purification of complex modalities.

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
